It was usually only selected rich and corrupt filipinos, military and high ranking PNP Personnel playing a golf course only they enjoyed with corruption and illicit money from bribes and "kotong" money. FVR gave BCG what it needs including lots of Jobs and employment through FVR's idea. Your title itself is wrong and inconsistent with story you want to relay. Most of your statement pertains to a strong vibrant economy. But on the side you will say negative aspect of the said sales of govt properties. Have you realized that from the time of Marcos our economy plunged into great devastation bcoz of corruption and cronyism.
From the the time of Cory Aquino's presidency there is no significant change in economy. There was a study conducted by US, the Philippines will take 20yrs or more to make it's economy back on its own feet.
As you mentioned FVR made a sacrificial move to raise fund by selling Govt properties, is there something wrong with that since the end result is bringing the economy back on its feet again. Most travelled president, yes, did it served the purpose of travel? Yes.
Regarding power outage, it came also to your statement, the growth of the economy. Is there something wrong with that? At least no corruption at all. Increased Taxes, is it wrong? US and Europe is far more higher.
Is FVR a traitor? NO. Is he Corrupt? No. Before you make such blog study more on how Philippine is govern. And see if such move doesn't really benefit it's citizen.
Note: The sales of govt properties are the least performing properties, more money to spend than to regain. That is why it's sold.
