Aside from the fact that he has the best theme in the game, he has a high sense of honor he doesn't use any gimmicks or cheats during the fight despite being the most rebellious and unstable decepticon (alongside blitzwing of course) he fights hand to hand and bot to bot

I decided to fight him on prime again and i gotta say it was the best 1 on 1 i ever fought, he truly is the king of the road

Fun fact: motor master is actually the most sane decepticon (besides soundwave and shockwave) in the g1 series despite the fact being the youngest decepticons
He convinced his other stunticons too save megatron because he knew starscream would go mad with power
He also was smart enough to understand that menasor has certain traits the autobots don’t know (menasor was a perfected combiner so thee others aren’t present while menasor is active)

He reminds me of Sundowner.
