How can this man have so many placements? 🤔😄
Ответитьi ask myself, if the ssds are already limited by pcie 4.0?
ОтветитьDo u think Sony would recommend this SSD for the PS5 once they dropped a patch for it????
ОтветитьHi there. Great review. Could i ask... if i use the sn850 in a gen 3 port, is there a chance i could damage the motherboard or sn 850?
Secondly, what kind of read /write speeds would i expect from the sn 850 in the gen 3 pcie slot?
Happy New Year sir and everyone.
Luckily my SN850 was an actual gift without obligation to return (lol)...
Having the same motherboard I am asking for your opinion: using the standard heatsink for nvme would keep the temperature under acceptable limits..?
Thanks in advance.
Tell me which is better to take wd black sn850 (500gb) or samsung 980pro (500gb)?
ОтветитьWhy my sn850 showings 2800 read speed and 3300 write speed 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьinline product adds... SUCKS! But thats just me :P
Ответитьhow many GB is usable tho?
ОтветитьGot mine and getting those speeds, have put a heat sink on it though as it was getting too toasty for my liking
ОтветитьAny news back from WD on the anomalous tests with the ryzen 5 instead of ryzen 9?
ОтветитьYer not supposed to know about my bad ass WD Black SN850 NVMe M.2 SSD
This may be the only time you hear me admit Britain won WW2 by cutting off hitlers oil.
My western teachers will be punished for their lies.
Is it faster than 980 pro Im putting together my pc.
Ответитьthis will be in my PS5 this summer
ОтветитьHi , if i put on my pci3 gen motherboard z390 do they work on same speed ?
Ответитьwhat program are you using to show all the ssd's info?
ОтветитьWhen I started watching Kit, I didn’t like his rough-handedness with packaging and components.
Now I’m like, "get rekt like the bitch your are component!"
How does this stack against competitors would be nice in the video ... like the fire cruda 2.0 by sea gate ?
ОтветитьCould I run this ok without the heatsink on my asrock h410m/ac motherboard ? would I get the same wow speeds ?
ОтветитьHello where i can take this Kit that holds the motherboard? its very interesting for testing
ОтветитьI literally just installed this in my pc lol. It runs insanely fast and it's fine. My X570 Mag comes with heat sinks and thermal tape underneath. I tan crystal mark and i got about 7060 mb/s read. Also my temps were way lower because I used it with a heat sync...like it's supposed to be. With all the mobos now, it makes no sense to run it bare and risk burning it out since its so high performance and needs to be cooled. no big deal.
ОтветитьWARNING Avoid like the plague I had this drive had problems day 1 it's not compatible with Asus z590 or asrock !!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHi, what is the maximum temperature the WD Black SN850 NVM M.2 SSD can operate on?
ОтветитьI happen to have a WD Black SN850 NVM M.2 SSD 2TB, but I didn't get the heatsink. Is there a problem if it reaches around 55ºC when operating?
ОтветитьSo can it be used on an MSI Z97 GAMING 7 mobo with an Intel Core i7 4700K CPU?
ОтветитьDeos it work in a MacBook Pro 2015 With its adapter ?
ОтветитьMy question is ¿With heatsink or not? For example, i decided for motherboard GIGABYTE-X570-AORUS ¿it would be necessary to buy with heatstink?
ОтветитьWould be interesting to see regular use temps instead of test software's that if for cars would be like flooring the gas for an hour with no fan or wind over the radiator.
ОтветитьDoes the heat sink come in the box with the ssd
ОтветитьReeeeeaally toasty,..mine goes 40 celsius
Ответитьmy Crucial P5 runs at 60 degrees IDLE.
ОтветитьBought this without the heatsink from a friend. Can't find it online. Anyone have a link to ONLY the Heatsink?? Also, planning to run this on z370 sli plus mobo. Should I be so concerned for temps if obvious throttling will occur anyways??? Thank you for any info!
ОтветитьVery informative, quality video!
ОтветитьNice video. I almost bought one of these, but I don't have a gen 4 platform to take advantage of it so I just got the much cheaper sn750 with heatsink. My old NVME drive ran hot, idling in the 50's and benchmarking brought it close to 80c and this was in a Be Quiet 802 mesh panel case with 7x140mm fans. The WD sn750 with heatsink idles in mid 30's and only hits low 40's when benchmarking.
ОтветитьAnyone using in a laptop (so, no heatsink)?
ОтветитьJust bought a 1tb £80 for my PS5 need a heat sink now
ОтветитьIf I don't have heat sink with a gen 3, could it damage my laptop?
ОтветитьWill this fit a legion 5 pro ( 2020 )?
Ответитьnot sure why, my board (asus b550 gaming) supports pcie 4.0 on slot m.2_1 where i installed this disk and crystal disk with same config reads 3700 instead of 6900 in your video. anyone have any idea?
ОтветитьAll i needed to know 👍 true lad!👌
ОтветитьI only get 42 Write MB/s on the RND4K Q1T1. I'm using a PCIe 3.0 motherboard, but still, that's WAY behind. Rest of the measurements I have are about 1/2 the speed, even the other random reads. is this right?
Ответитьcan you please help me with the WD_BLACK SN850 not able to install windows server on the same.
ОтветитьWatched this review just now as the price had dropped to £108.99 in the UK and bought it! Thank you KG..
ОтветитьCheers! I own both SN850 and SN750 1TB disks (in my desktop Workstation). Now i want to add second M2 to my new laptop DELL XPS 15 (9520 PCIe4).
I tested the max temperatures in my PC with Crystaldisk and monitored temps with WD dashboard.
SN850 max 64 celsius (with MB heatsink, so not comparable)
SN750 max 75 celsius
I read on some forums the SN850 have huge power consumption and heats up really fast and hot. The main system disk in the laptop is PCIe4 already, i want to use the second for work and data (photo and video editing + data). So iam worried about the heat and power issue. I plan to install it with the original DELL Solid-state drive thermal bracket. Is it crytical still after the western digital firmware updates in 2022?
Do you recommend the SN850 or the SN750 for slim laptop? Is this a fact that PCIe4 consumes more power and heats up faster than PCIe3, or is it just a myth? :)
Will it affect the XPS 15 battery mutch?
Thanks for any insights and tips.
I thought you had the soul of Marcellious Wallace in the box from pulp fiction.
ОтветитьMy WD Black SN750 get hella hot and it has the same heatsink as the one one the SN850. To give you a good example would be if you used a Bic lighter and burned your finger on the metal frame by the flint on top. So is this the norm with this drive even with the heatsink that is supplied with it.
ОтветитьPlease suggest most compitaible NVME SSD for my
