I have a feeling I've seen this before, but just to be sure, I'll watch it all.

This is pretty cringe but it's actually Gellar, not Geller.

He's not a character in friends, smdh.

Gellar's ability to put out absolute bangers every single time is baffling. I have no idea how anyone could ride that balance between quality and consistency

Honestly, the closest video essayist I could compare Gellar to is Supereyepatchwolf, who is one of my personal favorites. Highly recommend as a fan of both.

The one that got me was Fear of big things underwater.
I listened to it on a coastal coach ride down the coast, looking out of the window fearing what could burst out of the beautiful scenery

Honestly I love him as a non-gamer. I dont really play anything (except a healthy dose of iphone spider solitaire) but can watch his videos for their deeper commentary with so much fascination - because he's talking about something that isn't just what he's talking about. The idea that torture is inefficient was one already familiar to me when I watched his call of duty torture video, but he gave me so much more interesting stuff, with actual research, and books I might find interesting to read in the future. The idea of a brain transfer not taking the you-that-is-you across was one I'd considered in a few contexts, little did I know how many games have it as a theme, and yet, there are, and beyond that the chimp brain transplant research that is absolutely haunting to this medical student.

I'm rambling in your comment section about a few of my favourite videos of his, and being so glad to see him getting praise he is due, and yet haven't seen cities without people aha, so I'm glad I have another good one so go watch

Jacob Geller said he hates gamers; and, he said the world would be better off WITHOUT gamers. There's NOTHING brilliant about that.
