I go through my own troubles thinking about my issues i had with my mom growing up. I love my mom I wouldn't trade her for the world but some of the things I went through as a child when I talk about it it makes me feel bad like im talking down on her but it really is just the truth and any "victim" thats goes through anything shouldn't feel that way to just say what happened but its there the feeling of putting down someone you love

If you notice, that's being said in the context of someone who is an unrepentant sinner. Who is doing their own thing for their own reasons. In that context, we're not seeking Him. Paul here is stressing that no one is righteous. No one is seeking to do right. We have all turned away. That's why we're all sinners. Why we are all seeking the darkness (John 3:19-20).

However, Romans 3:21-29, shows us how the conversation is made by grace, through faith. After that, He places the Holy Spirit in us. Through that Spirit, we seek after Him (Psalm 51:10-19; 2 Corinthians 5:17-18).

We, through the Holy Spirit, seek God. We are transformed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We are guided by the Holy Spirit and we seek after Him. We sought the darkness when we were wicked and children of darkness. Now that we are of Him, we are in Him, and He in us, we are of the light and seek after the light.

This young man is an example of who God is, His mercy knows no end. He calls each of us to Himself as He builds a people for Himself. God is kind and merciful as John is testifying! To God be the glory!

I can relate to how your mom was. My mom used to threaten to commit suicide and then tell me or my half brother and half sister that it's our fault and we have to live with that the rest of our lives. She would drive crazy and swerve and threaten to wreck and kill us all. She is very narcissistic.
