Yooo 🔥🔥🔥
Ответить👍👍An awesomely awesome performance🔥🔥🔥. I believe they will perform this in India one day. 🦊 🖖❤
ОтветитьNice one - and this is the only Indian BABYMETAL song. They have a couple inspired by or referencing Indian mythology (eg 'Maya'), but this is the only one with a sitar (in the studio version at least), the kaleidoscope type visuals that are popular in Bollywood, the faithful Indian style choreo (and there have been Indian dancers react to this who were very impressed with the efforts they had gone to to make it as authentic and respectful as they could).
This is from the Metal Galaxy album where they did explore some different musical styles from around the world (mainly on the first half or Light Side of the album).
Shanti means peace. It is a Sanskrit word (that is a written Indian language) and repeated 3 times it means peace in body, mind and spirit. If you watch again and take notice of the subtitles you will see those are faithful to the concept as well.
Nice reaction! Shanti = Peace. I love this song so much. I recommend watching Time Wave, it's my favorite choreography.
ОтветитьThe next step is to react to the evolved version of this song "Metalizm".
ОтветитьNice one, thanks!
Legend-MM is always a great choice. Two of their best shows and their latest Blu-rays till date. Also my favorite shows... for many good reasons. 😁
This is their only Indian influenced song. About the accuracy of that Indian influence, several Indian reactors mentioned they were really on point. Including the music, the choreo in general and the hand movements in particular.
"Shanti" is a Sanskrit word and literally means peace, being in peace - it also means tranquility, calm mind, well-being, happiness, absence of stress and avoidance of pain.
According to the Hindu tradition, there are three negative forces which are the source of pain. So, by chanting "Shanti" three times they neutralize the effects of these three forces. "Shanti" has a beautiful meaning and also a beautiful sound, and repeating it three times could also be interpreted as peace in body, mind and soul (the three parts of the human being).
🤘🦊
Need more SAKURA GAKUIN REACTION HUHUHU
ОтветитьThe song you might have heard before which you thought had an Indian sound, more particularly the sound of an Indian stringed instrument, would be Metali. It begins with a Japanese stringed instrument (shamisen) which can make you think of the Indian sitar, which is more familiar to many people. It's a common mistake for Metali. They don't have a second Indian song, but they do have another song with a (non-Japanese) Southeast Asia / Middle East flavor: Metalizm.
ОтветитьFor more good choreo and different flavors, try "Night Night Burn" and "Metalizm"...trust me 😉😏
ОтветитьThe other song you might be thinking of is METALIZM. It is Arabian psytrance metal. Some people confuse Indian and Middle Eastern sounds, so we've seen reactors mistakenly think METALIZM is Indian and Shanti is Middle Eastern/Egyptian. Metali and Megitsune are both strongly Japanese.
ОтветитьYes definitely one of my top 5 BABYMETAL LIVE song/performances.
Kagerou LIVE with Kami Band intro at Legend MM is also top 5.
So an indian choreographer did a reaction to this song, and she said that more than classic indian influence, this song and the dances have a Bollywood influece. So still Indian, but not traditional but the Bollywood version!
The other "indian" BM song is "Metalizm", which is more Middle Eastern than Indian
If you haven't done it yet, Nigh Night Burn is pretty fun!
Hell yeah dude, I love this song. Su definitely does something amazing with her vocals in this song.
J-Swag turning into a Moa simp? 😂
🤘🦊
MOA is unreasonably attractive.🌡😅
ОтветитьIt's ALL about MOA, It's always MOA.
ОтветитьNice reaction. This is one of those songs that proves Babymetal can do anything and have no limits. That and they have a ridiculous amount of talent. Moa said getting the dance right especially the hand positions was the hardest part. Su may have a different opinion on that. the vocal run that you went back to isn't easy for someone who didn't grow up singing it. Babymetal always reminds me of a line from a Van Halen song. "Sang so good the roof fell in. Now everybody wants to go." from "Top Jimi". Great song. Nothing like this one. But that line fits when talking about Babymetal. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.
ОтветитьGood that you didn't do the official mv... they had some stupid kaleidoscope effect that covered up all the dancing. I love watching Indian reactors react to this, and see how happy they are with Babymetal's cultural appreciation. 😁😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
ОтветитьThe only song related to India that I can think of is Mini Pati – Acha! Cha! Karī [ENG, JPN, Romaji subs] by Moa and Yui and Hana when they were in SAKURA GAKUIN. A lovely song about curry. Thanks for your great reaction.
