Ответитьwhat you could do is give the player the ability to place their towers after the round starts but only in rooms not yet explored or far enough away from the people trying to beat the dungeon, or at least add a restart button for if they don't want to wait for them to reach the end. It could also be useful to have a command that gives you a specific amount of money

ОтветитьInstead of the enemies walking through empty rooms there could be towers every few rooms the enemies must destroy before they can move on. This way you have something to strategize around.
ОтветитьHey, an advice for future. When you create another hero type, make a list of enemies in the next round, so you won't go in blind.
Or give player an option to retry the "wave" on which they lost.
Imagine going though a dungeon and suddenly your on fire

Ответить"Reaction time" makes me wonder whether there are certain room layouts or support enemies which can improve, or delay reactions. A bunch of orcs playing cards round a table increases the reaction delay but improves the money you get per round from them gambling. Maybe cards which contain layout items or support items (one per room) could give more of a tower-defence vibe which makes you strategise, especially if you can't keep playing units while the round is active.
Looking good though, keep it up!

ОтветитьOne think that would be cool if enemies and heros could level up and become an unstopable hero or an invencible mini boss, considering that u cant place minions during a wave, u should let players micro minions like rts games

Ответитьyou should make it so you can re organize each room in the layout although that's more of its own game concept
ОтветитьMaybe make it so you can place during a round, but make it more expensive? So if a goblin is 10 not during a round, then during a round it could cost 20, or something, so if you mess up you can save yourself, but you cant just spam enemies during a round. Just an idea though, im no game designer (yet)

ОтветитьAbsolutely love the style of this game, really well done. Enjoy the menu with the minions falling over, ha ha. Couldn't help picturing them falling over when you hit play instead; could make for a funny little transition perhaps? Iunno, may be perfect the way it is already.

ОтветитьI like that you limited spawning and player interactions is great but I think you should have a small amount of reserve players, say three. Using these should come at a cost, probably a trade off with the player interactions so the player has to make strategic choices. You should also give your dudes a chance to retreat. This will allow experienced dudes to be saved and will mean that a good player will have to leave room in the next room for a fallback. You should also add a trapdoor which briefly opens as a player interaction, it'll take skill to pull off but could turn a battle if many fall in. You should be able to direct the dudes to a location too, again at a PI point cost.
Oh and you need a name... Cardboard Hell?

I think it maybe could look even cooler if instead of faking a new room with a camera ride, sub menus would reveal the following:
By clicking an option all stickers peel of the wall and fall on the ground. Behind them stickers for the chosen Option would then reveal. Infinitiv sub categories could be hidden behind them the same way and clicking on the pile of stickers or an extra sticker could bring you back to the main menu. clicking and pressing a Sticker could even crumple it possibly making it a mini game to throw crumpled stickers somewhere.
The main disadvantage of cause is that every Menus stickers must be at the same size and positions.
