How long did the whole job take you? I have been quoted that it will take 10 hours.

What code(s) did you read out and/or how was it diagnosed that this part needed replacing? Thanks!

I just went through that process. damn!! i replaced the entire unit. i used the drilled hole technique. i learned that the brace through which the holes is drilled is bolted to the transmission tunnel. it was tough getting my assembly out so i unbolted that brace and bent it out slightly so i could get the assembly back in. its helped. i also unbolted my front seat and pushed it back. that helps tremendously!!

the arm positions are (from the bottom arm going to top) down, up, down, up. rubber bands help. once everything is lined up it literally pops in. you'll know it when it does.

regarding the bottom servo position....other videos have indicated there's an arrow and holes that have to be aligned. mine did not want to work that way. i had the dealer calibrate mine just to be sure it was in the correct place. let it line up where it wanted to line up. it worked. you can look at the gears and see there's a gap on the black gear on bottom servo. i think that marks the point at which it registers itself.

keep in mind the servos work in independently of one another. I know way more about tundra blend door actuators than i ever intended.

Do you have to initialize this ? I don't know anything about these but watched another video about initializing these of they may not work at all after installed.

I have a 15 sienna, in recirculate it pulls in outside air. The passenger side does not regulate. When it is moist I see fog from the defrost area. And it goes in and out like the door is floating.
Dealer said nothing is wrong. 🙄. Let me know. Looking for parts.

I’m trying to do this on a 2013 Toyota Sequoia, but I can’t figure out how to remove that long black trim piece. You sorta skipped over that process in your video

Thanks for the video, about to embark on this on my '07 Tundra, and was just quoted 7 hours labor at the local shop, and they were reading off the book where as they remove the entire dash and steering column. $900 in labor alone, so I thin I will break out the tools and a sweat rag now that I see it can be done without removing everything but the carpet!

Great video, I am assuming this is what I need to replace on my 2014. My driver's side heat doesn't blow hot in "sync" mode, just warm. The passenger side is very hot, but the driver's is luke warm. Does that sound like a symptom this part would fix?

Just curious what code everyone got before replacing “Damper Servo Sub-Assembly”. I am getting B1446 on my 2010 Toyota Sequoia. I think this is the part I need to replace. Any thoughts ?
