This is a video featuring the Fifine K688. It is currently sale for about $58. What's cool about this microphone is that it's a USB C and a XLR microphone. In this video I also do some comparisons with other dynamic microphones so you can get a sense of how this compares.

The inadvertent demo of how good the rejection is was amusing :)

As to quality It does sound a little lacking in top end, although thats not surprising for the price for a USB mic (and it may be OK with thinner voices than yours.) Not too different-sounding from the XM8500, which I have used 5 of for a good few years.

I completely agree about the mount! I have a boom arm but sometimes I just prefer it on a desk stand. Wish we could swap it around.

whaaaaaaaaaat XM8500 costs like an apple and it's sound so good how that's possible.
I'm right about my opinion? can you recheck and tell me if it's really good.
Ethos is also good.
