ABSOLUTE DISASTER | More 11.0.5 Balance Tuning Coming | Ele is deadge

I just started wow 1 month and a half ago and dont understand why it id so complicated for Blizzard to balance class ? I mean you look at the chart and at the spell casted and u just adjust the number of the damage delt. It is high school maths. I just feel like because Blizzard stick to round percentage of buff for each spell that it cant balance efficiently. I usally dont like giving my opinion on things I dont master. So please if u see why my simple solution wont work, explain.

Well it's clear as day that Shaman in all specs are straight up broken AF. Nerfs are necessary, people are not playing any other healer (Disc priest is getting popularity rn). Close to them are A$$ Rogues who also needs tuning down. Or just buff every other dps out there. All changes last patch were made with almost no thought put behind them

Funny how so many people equate "FUN" to being towards the top of the dps meters. Smh. If youre always looking to be one of the best/top specs in the game, youll never be happy and will keep re rolling, lol. Play what you genuinely like and stop chasing the meta.

I dont wanna be a doomer but its blatantly obvious that blizzard dont have enough people working at the game and/or have enough competent people working with the balanceing of the game. I do like the emphasize on pushing content faster but not when stuff clearly is released before its ready as have been the case recently. As a customer im not expecting everything to be perfect, mistakes can happen and is fine. But having specs that does 2/3 of the highest performers damage and having specs that are so weak that the only way to bring them into decently high content is to bring another spec (looking at aug evokers) to keep them alive is ludicrous. On top of that healers and tanks are fleeing from m+ as content because both tanks themself and the actual dungeons are not tuned in a way that its accessible for the average player which resultes in everyone except organized groups of 5 standing in dornagol trying to get into the same 15keys.

Personally, I think Blizzard should just use a 3rd party consultant service. Something like $100 to content creators for xx opinions on xx spec or class. They could even release minor mounts or companion pets to pay for it.

Imo they (Blizzard) are doing it on purpose... using the unrest in classes to hype the masses around the anniversary. Maybe after xmas they'll care about true balance once again when the hype dies down and they start loosing subs.

What i finds so baffling is that everyone who plays the game knows what needs to be balanced pretty much. We know what is top and bottom at what kind of encounters and slight tweaks would fix it or bring it closer.

I think that the mechanisms for calculating damage are now so complex that even the developers can't foresee what consequences their changes will have. I think it's time for a break and a WoW 2.0 with manageable game systems.

I think they should do complete class reworks every two weeks. It went really well this time in the middle of the season

I tried this addon in hopes they'd do something good. But as holds true since many, many years, the game is not really playable priot to patch .1 / .2
So in short: I'm out, once again. See you next AddOn where I'll be disappointed once against after 2 months and will leave just the same.
The mount drama was just the icing on the cake this time around. A 90 EUR mount instead of an awesome reward for the 20 years celebration. THATS BLIZZARD. A money greeding company that doesn't care about how playable their game has become.

Those changes are huge for MW. They are buffing the ranged option of the optimal raid build by a lot so with healing being already difficult you don't have to keep 100% melee uptime like some psychopathic og monk players for some reason want.

Dude, Fire does tank ST in M+, Arcane feels clunky at best wothout the big number reward and Frost ist frost... How can you say Mage currently is in a good spot?

All three shaman specs have been overpowered this season.

Ele main for over a decade, and for years played the spec regardless of its iteration because I like it. Now that they are on top for less than 3 days blizz decides to nuke them to the ground? Why not buff other classes and test those out for a few weeks, then maybe make changes? Or make the nerfs gradual..maybe one less stormkeeper from tempest is a start, fine. but to also nerf the elemental overload damage makes the class unplayable. i spent a week farming mastery gear due to the changes but have to scrap all that now in favor of crit or haste. it's mind-blowing that they do this shit so regularly. honestly, each tuning session should last a month minimum, then assess and see how it goes. i just hate their mindset of "nerfing the powerful classes" instead of just buffiing al the others.

Im an elemental shaman. Following the 11.0.5 patch, i crafted my 536 weapon with crit/mastery, changed all my gems from haste to mastery. It cost me nearly 100k gold. Now, since farseer seems to be the better choice again, ill probably have to change to crit or haste…this is ridiculous.

Stop complaining and start appreciating their hard work ... before it takes them 6 months to do 1 simple change . Now, when they are doing the right thing, you are complaining

From my opinion, and as an outlaw rogue main - all I needed was a buff. The class worked fine for me. I understand Assassination is an absolute powerhouse now but - I don't play assassination unfortunately. They removed Shadowstep, they fucked up Thistle Tea, they changed how Echoing Reprimand and the special combo points work which - Okay that's the one change I'm okay with but even still - it horrifically fucked up my rotation. I still think Thistle Tea should have just been kept as-is, or just removed and replaced with something new because now there isn't even a point in having it on my actionbar. There should be an option to have it be auto or manual. This whole patch is just a disappointment, the event is... Mid, the changes to other classes are baffling, Locks got absolutely beaten into the ground and had the Joker 2 prison treatment, Mage got beaten even worse. I predicted it that TWW was going to be a downward spiral and this is just proof Blizz needs more time to cook an expansion because at this rate it's not even cooking, it's not even fast food, it's throwing the frozen patty right in our faces then demanding 70$.

Maybe with the money made from the new mount, blizzard can afford higher paychecks for the heads of Blizzard to fund their next Lambo, Villa and Jet. I highly doubt any money made from the mount will benefit development.

Glad to see Stormbringer nerfed and Farseer buffed. Tempest is the most clunky and annoying ability in awhile and I will be vibing as Farseer until they change Tempest. You've probably not played a lot of MMO's before, but if you look at Blade & Soul for example Swordmaster would absolutely destroy every other class. In Guild Wars 2 in the first couple of seasons Guardian had insane overrepresentation and was only countered my Mesmers. That's the stuff you look at and think: "damn, that's messed up". In wow you can generally play anything and be fine, bar an outlier here or there.

Blizzard are fucking stupid for not being able to tune classes. Mages have been on top for what, a decade? Never got any real tuning but when it comes to any other class, less than a week to nerf them to oblivion. Idiots.

You say this doesn't happen to mages in the last part, while both the charts you're showing have the mages at best in C tier.
