Mike- Even with the flight's from NY to HK to the PH and the trip, it's still cheaper than my trip to Aruba or Costa Rica at $600 to $800 per night for a hotel and everything else. Everything is relative to where one is going.
But in the Korean comparison to the US to the PH..Makes sense what you are saying. Good points and well taken. ~ Peter
PS- If people behave themselves, 9 out of 10 times you will be ok with the Koreans and everyone else. It's all about respect in a country that we don't live in as locals. All that other noise is just noise. Go, drink, be merry and respect.

I have found Koreans ( especially ages 45+) to be rude, arrogant, insufferable, and amazingly cheap. If I ever went to Angeles City, I would avoid their establishments. Were they try to take over all of the Philippines, I would happily move back to the US. I base my opinion of Koreans upon my military service in Korea. Flights: Gainesville fl to Atlanta to Seoul to Cebu. Korean airlines ( ironically). Round trip $2,800 as of 6 months ago.

We saw this happening over in subic Bay when the Americans left back in the 90s . Anywhere there is a void and it will get filled and in the process upgrades are made and Filipinos are employed. We see these clubs open up and then are closed 6 months later because of some indiscretion that occurs. These are South Koreans, and they are basically doing tours that are sold in Korea, which is a travel package that includes hotel and round trip flight . True, it doesn't matter if you're a sexpat coming from anywhere on the planet and you book ahead of time your flight and your accommodations. You may even have a tour guide that directs you to certain establishments that are run by Koreans.

Good morning Mr& Mrs Po, good to see you back again. This video is N/A for me as I do not drink, stay off of Walking Street, and never go into bars clubs, or KTVs. " That being said " I would give you an A- on your research and organizational chart. As always, I totally enjoyed this video. As for me, It takes about 4 hours from Japan to Manila or just under 4 hours from Japan to Clark in my Honda Jet. I eat a buffet breakfast for about 200P at a small restaurant which is about a 5-minute walk from Kandi Palace as Taqeulla Reef is way too expensive for me.

I think you missed the root reason. Cheap travel and close doesn't explain why? $200 is cheap, but cheaper to stay home. The reason more Korean men are coming to PH is the same for men from US and other wealthy countries. The women in the home countries aren't worth the time and effort. Korean women are even more demanding than US women. Chinese women even more demanding than Korean women.

Women from all these countries are all on social media and all trying to out flex the other. US women say they deserve a 6 figure man...Korean women raise it to 7 figures and Chinese to 8. They demand a man own a car and a house/condo, both paid for. Very few Korean and Chinese men can pull that off.

Chinese men are trying to get with Filipinas but the Chinese men have less money to spend, don't feel the need to spend, so Filipinas aren't liking them.

Korean men spend on women because they're used to that back home.

Filipinas consider "rich" to be a $1000-2000/mo income. Anything above that and most Filipinas don't even know what that means. They'd have no idea what to do with $10,000/mo other than give $8k to their mom. Korean men can cover that $1000-2000 so to Filipinas Koreans are the same as a US man with $10k/mo.

Filipinas may even prefer the low income. They will often say they like a humble man. What they're talking about is a man who doesn't flash wealth. The reason is not they respect modesty. It's because they're trying to land you. 100% focused on trying to win you. If you say you have loads of money it wrecks her confidence. She'll never be able to win such a wealthy man.

IMO a man is much more successful finding a good partner by hiding assets from a Filipina. The more poor you appear the more comfortable she feels.

Male desperation and thirst illustrated on a spreadsheet. No wonder some traditional thirst-cels will marry and have kids. But, something tells me that spreadsheet is way worse. "Own Way" (aka herbivore and lay-flat) seems like the logical way for men who aren't handsome young "Chads" that get it for free.

Lets be honest: western expats are too cheap, remembering the past and not expecting the world to advance. What ever cost the korean saves on a flight, the american is winning on annual salary.

Koreans over pay on entertainment, even in their own country. I recall regular workers dropping hundreds on a night of karaoke and drinking several years ago.

Money talks and if you want pretty, working girls you need to pay. The days of broke sexpats is coming to an end.

I’ve been coming here since the 80s, lived here since just before the pandemic. I was here when there were no Koreans but you are right it Timothy I have as much money as they do. The problem is when they first got here around 2000, They began by overpaying for everything and the prices rose quickly for everybody. It is not as bad now, but they continue to overpay, and the prices continue to rise, partly not fully as a result of that. I also noticed that at golf restaurants and bars. They are very stingy when it comes to tips. when I go to my favorite bar on walking Street ( I won’t name the bar. ). Waitresses rush to find me a seat in their area, because they know they will receive a good tip yet when Koreans enter they just sit back and let them find somewhere to go. I rarely go to Korean owned establishments.

The average westerner is perceived to be the poor man on the block compared to Koreans and Japanese. Same is happening in Cebu City and Davao where Koreans have their own exclusive resorts and clubs. On top of that, many Filipinas love K-pop and J-pop. Western culture is not as popular as it used to be.

It's simple the value for an American is very small nowadays. Back 15 years ago the barfines and the costs in general were so cheap it was worth it to fly there. It is not worth it anymore. And the new generation has less money to spend. When the boomers will disappear from Angeles we will be a minority big time.

Coming on the group tour's guys paying double price to others. Korean bar charged me full lady drink price for my ferind that was with me .she not even a bar girl. When i qustion them on its they said if she was not with you. You would buy one of our ladys a drink. New scam to watch out for.

Mike, there does seem to be an obsession with the Koreans, difficulty is we don't hear their views, some westerners seem to live in some fantasy past where the prices never change, I assume the prices there are subject to inflation and there is a considerable change in values over the last 20 years, like everywhere else in the world? The problem with P4P prices there isn't a standard price, it is whatever you can get away with, sex tourists don't have many options, the bars know they will pay. However the western bars there aren't that much cheaper? Lollipops bf is 5k for most girls which isn't different to the Korean bars near it, like ,123 or bad boys?

IMO you guys are getting ripped off paying those prices in that 3rd world ghetto and the Koreans are probably the reason, they're applying your analysis to their price setting

I’m here now, been here for 4-5 days is all. And yeah, the Korean dudes are fun to party with! Man last night at genesis two guys threw out from what I was able to count 10k pesos! All the girls were full of energy. Then, they left 😂 didn’t even grab a girl.

Now, for the normal guys I see around here yeah, it’s gonna be some competition and I have heard a lot of guys say they actually get rejected when trying to take a girl and bar fine her. I haven’t experienced that at all! When I walk in most every girl stands up, starts dancing and smiling at me. White American man here with Abs and still on the younger side. So that’s my experience.

Now, for the older, not so in shape, heavier, less attractive guys… you’re gonna have competition and yes I will say that some girls will reject your bar fine request. So after a few sips ask if she will go with you and don’t waste your time. I didn’t realize this until the second older guy told me that he maybe gets 3/10 girls he tries to get. I’ve been able to take any girl I want luckily but expect experiences to vary.

It does matter Mike, because Koreans chaged the way AC worked and that change was for the worse. They ruined what made AC so very special Mike.
It is not the same very special place anymore.

There was no short time like today, girls would stay not only long time but around the clock, 24/7 if you wanted them with you. Even the most beautiful, you wont find that today for the most part, some exceptions sure but not on average and many of the hottest girls will not even go with Westerners Mike, it is hard enough to find the truely hottest girls to begin with so when Koreans are taking these girls off the market for Westerners Id say it sure does matter.

I could go on and on why it does matter Mike.

There was no girls wearing gowns, covering their bodies, there was no spotlight dancers, those girls would be on stage with the rest for the same price Mike.

The Dollhouse was first I seen that had spotlights dancers at a big price bump-up in price. With BF at 1200-1500P the spot lights were 3000, crazy pricing, the owner said, we have a new costumer in town. Koreans like to play the big-shot and spend more to impress. CAME RIGHT FROM THE OWNER.

Shadow of the place it used to be.

I agree you can't control any of that but that does not change the facts on why it does matter big-time.
