Great and well informed video.....for a car I love yet hated in the nineties....we’ve got an LE, a plus and 20vt mule lol. 😜😂
ОтветитьGreat video - so nice to watch some content about a car so close to my heart as a 20v turbo plus owner
ОтветитьGreat cars,, I did 100k in my ink black 20vt and only sold it as I needed more seats.
ОтветитьGreat video, i have one Fiat Coupe 2.0 16v aspirated 95/96 (with originals 50.000Km) Yellow here in Brazil!
Ответитьnice man cant wait to drive mine - check it out on my channel!!! deffo future classic!
Ответитьis that 750 left in uk or total? wikipedia has total production through the years listed as 72k+.
ОтветитьPerfect car ...
ОтветитьLoved my Portofino Blue metallic 20v turbo : miss it so much
ОтветитьI bought my first coupé new in 1997, a 1.8 16V. This was my daily driver til 2014. Now i have the 2.0 20V Turbo, second hand, that i bought in 2013. Fantastic cars and very reliable!
Ответить❤
Ответитьlove the video - im restoring a sprint blue 20vt - check my videos bro - i will be watching your series haha!!
ОтветитьBellissima!!! Turbo 16 e’ brutale!
ОтветитьVideo bellissimo!!!!
ОтветитьNice like
ОтветитьFiat Power....
ОтветитьI can of course not prove it but I said to myself that this would become a classic the first time I ever saw it, much more then the Barchetta actually, which initialy stole much of its limelight. It's about the only car I would have sold my Citroën XM for, although that was / is obviously much more practical. You don't fold a bicycle into a Fiat Coupe without even taken it's front wheel out! Furthermore XM's hardly rust. But designwise they are, in spite of their differing concepts, on a par as far as I am concerned. Nothing built later would make me me part with one of both. There is hardly any higher personal praise I can put upon it. Alas I never drove or owned a Coupé but I just refurbished my 3rd XM. :-)
ОтветитьMust own one to try push the price up lol never seen an LE go for between 18k to 20k. More like 7k do miss mine as well though.
ОтветитьGreat video here. I have a 20v 5 cylinder turbo fiat coupe and it's fantastic. Great to drive and the design is great and interesting 😁
ОтветитьGreat car. Great channel. Fiat Coupe is my dream. Sub and hand up. Pozdrawiam z Polski.
Ответить#1 Criteria gets a Fail for me, If it was the 5 Cylinder car, yes it would pass.
ОтветитьThe Fiat coupe is one of those cars that is looking better and better as the years go by.
ОтветитьI test drove a 16V turbo a couple years back, but ended up with a Alfa GTV 3.0 24V instead.
Both were fun but expensive to keep
I own a 20vt coupe, what a car! Amazing performance and looks stunning even more beautiful than most modern day sports cars. Mine has a stage 3 turbo in it and has been resprayed lime green, love it!
ОтветитьGot my 20vt 6 fast and rev like a sport mbike....get one while you can...
ОтветитьYeah a very unappreciated car, these even 10+ years ago were said to be a future classic, I really don't think they will... I own 2 20vt's one is a plus, still looking for an Uno turbo though... why do we love these, when the rest of the world seems to fall over themselves for a basic Ford?
ОтветитьI’m from the USA and part of me wants to import a Fiat Coupe. But I WANTED the one with the I5T 20v. Mainly because of its Gran Turismo history. I remember playing that car in the game
ОтветитьI've got a 20VT plus which i got from new in late 2000 in Malaysia. It's been off the road a few years now, but finally getting on with getting it restored and back on the road. Been trawling the net for Fiat Coupe videos the last few weeks and really can't wait to get it back. I miss it that much....
ОтветитьWhat is the likelihood of getting one of these in the United States?
ОтветитьFiat coupe is in Italy 🇮🇹
ОтветитьFiat coupe is a sports coupe
Ответитьin my opinion this is the most balanced version with maximum performance, hard to find one.
Ответитьunderrated car...
ОтветитьBangles Masterpiece was the Coupé FIAT, in the BMW Time he was not so lucky - in my Opinion.
ОтветитьFIAT had should named the car "Dino" instead of Coupe - only offering the 20VT version. Perhaps the intake manifold or something like that could have come directly from Ferrari, so that they could attach a small Ferrari emblem to the engine - "FIAT by Ferrari" like in the Lancia Thema 8.32... The car would be a desired classic now!!!
ОтветитьI've got a fiat coupe 20v turbo 6speed from new,its done 210K with no issues at all as long you service it regularly you'll be fine👍
ОтветитьThis car has a race engine that block Can take lots of power, i have the 20v non turbo 155 hp i Know its semiclosed block, whithout engine upgrade it takes about 500hp, so i imagin the Lancia 4 cylinder Can take more whithout touching the engine.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed watching this, lots of great content & think your right on the money
ОтветитьI absoluty love these. My ultimate dream machine. Seen one when i was 9, got the 20vt 5 speed when i turned 23, then got the rarer plus 6 speed model just recently before my 31st birthday coming up on the 22nd. Only 40 of the 20vt plus models left on on the roads, 400ish 20vts left. Less than 20 16vts left closer to 10 i believe. Not sure on the L.E but thats the worst LOOKING with the mismatched exterior and interior colours, tho it has the best factory body kit.
Mines good for 187mph 😃
How many Left Hand Drives did they make? I'm thinking of getting one imported to the UK; I don't mind what year or model, it's just gotta be LHD and red...
ОтветитьI've had 6 of these and they're great. I'd like you to do one on the Smart Brabus Roadster
ОтветитьSo pretty
Ответитьi own a moon grey 20vt plus. 400bhp. love it. no money in the world or no car swap in the world could part me with it.
ОтветитьIt’s already a classic.
It used to be the cheapo in my garage (Black LE, mint condition, bone stock) but as years go by it becomes clearer and clearer how truly special this car is. The shape ages extraordinarily well - it is a spectacular looking car. And, most importantly, it drives the part. The 5cylinder (actually a Lancia design supposed to go in the Integrale successor that never came) is charismatic, nice turbo punch, still a fast car today in stock form and sounds superb.
Punches for above its weight, even for the prices you are paying by now for a mint example
I’m
in love from
the moment i saw this car first time, back in 95,96. That moment when we were chasing on long boulevard, bought me forever!!! And i still wait the right moment to get one!!!
best car I have ever owned! and I have had many, Porsche, Maserati etc. very underrated
