Boxers from the north east are all shit and I’m from the north east myself.
ОтветитьThe night Josh Kelly fought in az I seen him and asked for an autograph dude brushed me off and said no felt like the kid from incredibles ever since didn’t expect that aha 🤣🤣
ОтветитьI always see this style of “showboating” as a showing of extremely high level understanding of the basics, and taking advantage of that and the rule set to use different techniques to win. I love watching it and don’t see it as irresponsible or disrespectful
ОтветитьThe trainer says Kelly would beat Ben and Eubank senior back in the day. These trainers are so deluded and I cannot understand why we keep matching up those of the past with the current.
Bad trainers will get their boxers seriously hurt with the hype. Stay humble and fight.
at first watch I thought that the towel was thrown a bit early. My thinking being that he needs to feel real adversity. But 2nd viewing, I think that was a damn good call by his team. Rather than a fighter being damaged goods after 1 loss simply because they wanted to show their toughness and keep their 0 - I think it's better to be a trainer that has a long game plan, realizing the health of the fighter is the most important attribute to have longevity in this crazy sport. A mindset I hope to see more of. Almost all of the greats in boxing have taken L's. No shame in it. Those blood and guts moments need to be taken in the right situation. Like Ward vs Gatti. That was a perfect time for both of them to go out that way. But a young up and comer, if your fighter is getting hurt like that, you are doing a disservice to him/her by not throwing in the towel. The downward spiral has already begun at that point.
ОтветитьI use your channel to educate my girl on boxing
Ответитьwhat song is used at the start?
ОтветитьIllegal elbow to back of the head obviously had an impact here
ОтветитьThats what happens when you primarily fight nobodies, you will get smoked by a halfway decent guy
ОтветитьJOSH KELLY is a hype job trash can from europe
ОтветитьI think he'll be back. That cut on the head played a pretty big part. Taking nothing away from David, the pressure was huge too
ОтветитьSo no ine thinks lising the blood, dropped his blood pressure?
ОтветитьPROOF THAT A PUNCHER ALWAYS HAS A CHANCE -- LOOKED LIKE KELLY TRIED A BIT TOO HARD TO PLAY TOUGH GUY & STAND IN SOME WITH THIS GUY -- NOT A GOOD STRATEGY ON THIS NIGHT
ОтветитьUk boxers rely to much on their natural talents
ОтветитьBig ego's don't win fights
ОтветитьFor a guy with "one punch power" that sure was a lot of punches.
ОтветитьNo heart no engine. Not a good combination
ОтветитьThe guy who destroyed Kelly, got destroyed by a real champion. Kelly wouldn’t last one round against Crawford.
ОтветитьThis tends to happen when you have a very good boxer who is also very handsome. It's human nature, we can't help it. The promoters see dollar signs, a star to them doesn't mean necessarily the best boxer, but the most marketable one that can cut it in the biggest fights. Usually when you get an unblemished confident fighter with this slick style, we want to admire it, and they end up admiring themselves. But reality is, when they are in with an ugly, dare to die fighter who doesn't mind taking shots to land one, these pretty boy style fighters, tend to get found out. They rarely get hit, so when they finally do, it's a reality check. Floyd Mayweather is just so special that he managed to pull it off for so long.
He should have been protected a bit more because I think the delusion went a bit far and people believed he was as good as they said, too early.
He’s a typical mackem, not good enough for the big league
ОтветитьEddie Hearn knows how to hype up these uk boys, then when they fight a real fighter, they get exposed.
ОтветитьUsed to love Josh Kelly! He wasn’t a hype train at all and this entire video is nonsense! He was a cracking boxer!
ОтветитьGoes to show how much conditioning is vital at the top level. You can beat up low-mid level guys but when a top fighter fights back and has the engine to push you you need to be able to go with them 🥊
ОтветитьLove Ava
ОтветитьIt's easy to get caught up in the hype & hubris and it's great to see that nonsense out of the way. Josh is a great fighter and I wish him all the best.
ОтветитьPity about his glass chin and lack of fitness. Hes a good 6-8 rd fighter though
ОтветитьIt wasn't really a humbling was it. He did well but was beat by a more experienced fighter.
ОтветитьDavin Avanesyan just went there with no fear of getting hit ! damn what a chin and heart on this dude ! it was so one sided but Kelly just folded under pressure he hit the dude up until he got exhausted !
ОтветитьYour fault for hyping him up for views.
Ответитьhardly humbled, the cut & other factors caused the downfall in that fight. He's come back stronger than ever since & im sure will be a world champ soon enough! hope so too, Josh is a great guy

ОтветитьThis is one of the biggest problems in boxing Josh Kelly fought well in a very good fight he can still bounce back also how can Conor Benn talk who’s he fought apart from old men
ОтветитьAnd hes fought and beat who???
ОтветитьI like fighters who are willing to put everything on the line, including the backlash when they finally lose after showboating and making fights look easy. We always need arrogant fighters, they bring excitement and taking points
ОтветитьThe wheels for Josh came off far earlier than the David Avanesyan fight. The reality is that prior to that fight he'd been poor for over two years against lowly opposition. He was gifted a draw in his fight against Ray Robinson, a fight which in my opinion he clearly lost. He was also poor in a 10 rounder against Wiston Campos. By this point he had gained a reputation within boxing circles as being somewhat of a gym fighter, meaning he was unbelievably good in the gym, but unable to recreate his best under the pressure of the lights. This actually goes all the way back to his days as an amateur fighter, boxing for England and Great Britain. I personally never bought into the Eddie Hearn hype train (that man couldn't lie straight in bed!) or from instagram clips showcasing his flashy style, but when Adam Booth spoke about him in such glowing terms I took notice. Booth isn't in the business of talking shit, he's a straight talker and as Josh's style was so fan friendly I began to root for him. Despite what some hardcore boxing fans say, boxing needs casual fans, they are the life blood of the sport, and Josh seemed to have the attributes to bring them in. But it just never happened, unfortunately. I can't feel too sorry for him though. His hype alone has seen to it that he's earned far more from the sport than other fighters who have achieved more with their careers. But he does seem like a good lad, and he's clearly a family man. I wish him nothing but the best. I hope that one day we see that gym fighter under the lights.
ОтветитьCrawford is out of this world
ОтветитьThat loss will make him stronger. But, at some point, when he's ready, he needs to rematch Avanesyan
ОтветитьHands down and solely relying on the head movement won’t carry you long.
ОтветитьAnother bs show boater. If you refuse to keep your guard up you will lose. Dumb af.
ОтветитьSad i missed this fight now watching both fighters more
Ответитьarrogant hype couldn't adjust
ОтветитьOdd video title.
ОтветитьIt's much harder fighting conventionally where you're more static and your defence have to be really good. These clowns fight on the back foot, dodging punches from a distance. It's a cop-out,a way to avoid putting in the hard yards.
ОтветитьDamn, that cut had to have made some difference in his cardio
ОтветитьI'm English, and i'm glad. The guys a clown
Ответитьthat hook combo is so cringe
Ответить"Hey, let's fight a Russian! What could possibly go wrong?"
ОтветитьThe British golden boy is s#£t! lol battered…….
ОтветитьI remember watching this fight. Was so pumped Avenseyan got up!
Ответитьgreat vid, we need the Joe Louis re-upload!
