Ok but honestly thinking about this logicly. PTSD is a very real thing as someone who suffers from it I know one of the most common things is avoiding any triggers at all cost. This guy was always around his triggers. I don’t think this is mean or dumb it’s understandable, while he could pay and have another parent take them I understand where the father is coming from, ptsd is awful to live with and extremely hard to deal with

AS A HUMANITIES NERD I HATE MOST ATHLETICS EXCEPT FOR TRACK AND FIELD COMPETITION.
