i thought the version 50 starting seqeunce was avirus 😭😭
ОтветитьThe date 1968 isn’t wrong. Lethal takes place outside the system Sol right? So what if the date 1968 isn’t wrong. What if it is to track the time of the current system they were in. 1968 MYL. 1986 million years ago. That means the current date is 1,986,000,000. Almost 2 billion years old. The system or galaxy they are in is fairly new. This may be a stretch, but it could make sense. The dates that have the more far future ones, 2100, 2200, 2300, etc, is the Sol date. While 1968 is the galaxy date they are currently in, or the system date. Unless the galaxy they are in is still the Milky Way, and it takes place in many solar systems, then my theory is bust. But if it takes place in a galaxy outside the Milky Way, or situated in one solar system, (which is impossible because why would it be in one solar system???) then my theory is credible.
ОтветитьNow he’s cannon to the Fortnite timeline so you may want to change this.
ОтветитьWhat if the years arent based on Earth years or earth has had some kind of event slowing down the orbit. This would explain why sigurd is so old and the technological advances being so off from our actual advances.
Edit: The calenders weeks are one day off so if somebody does the math it might add up.
Imagine making a video game in your spare time in your early twenties and you end up with $50 million.
ОтветитьTheory:
Sigurd runs everything and he’s immortal that’s possible cuz when you die you respawn at the cost of some credits and he’s orchestrating some empire where he’s the sole dictator
So uhh, for anyone watching this now, the weird timeline inconsistencies with Sigurd and the Old Bird entry is now removed. The log no longer features any edits by Sigurd.
ОтветитьAt this point I think the company has the ability to clone its employees. That's why they all look the same and are immediately replaced when they die. It also explains why a dead body has some value at the company building. It's possible that the same employee has been cloned countless times for half a millennia.
ОтветитьI believe “the boat” is some sort of last ditch attempt at saving civilization after the war begun, something in the likes of Noah’s ark. It wouldn’t be hard to see why the government would build such a ship, serving as a mobile centralized regulatory body.
Ответитьversion 55 comes out today maybe we will get to learn more im very happy
ОтветитьAs a theory, maybe the entry isn't referring the actual date but instead the year after the major event ocurrence, for example (1965 after the nuclear war)
Ответить[minaxa] was thare a big space war? [zeekers] T R U C K
Ответитьwhen i saw the sigurds danger level the first thing that came to my ming is that there is an organization or something named after sigurd so that's why sigurd rated old bird after like alot of time
ОтветитьOh my God the six day calendar made it click for me the reason the dates and ears are so messed up it's because they're using local time on the planet that they're writing on some planets might have 6-day weeks because it's just easier to divide the time that way self a planet has a shorter year it will be further along in years than the other planets you might have longer years so years like 2382 don't really seem that weird if they're written on a planet with a shorter year
ОтветитьFor the siger thing, if they are being clone, what if you're playing as a clone? Lethal company has everyone at the same size and they are wearing super thick clothing, which could easily hide this fact.
ОтветитьSigurd could also be a safety stamp or something. Like 'FDA approved' sort of rating.
Ответитьthey reset the calendar at some point like the romans did
ОтветитьAs for the calendar in the opening cutscene only have six days, I don't think that's too weird? We're in a world here where interplanetary colonization is the whole thing, it could be taking place on a moon or planet that have shorter years as compared to Earth.
ОтветитьI think I have a theory about the date thing in the old bird logs, Sigurd simply copied and pasted a record about it from somewhere. Im backing this up with the small detail in the Jester log where he says it doesn't have a record. I think Sigurd is finding data chips or even found a book about the monsters in one of the moons. Sigurd will then either leave it be or slightly alter them to his knowledge of how to actual deal with them
Ответитьthe minecraft music be hitting hard in the background
ОтветитьI feel like most of the time discrepancies can be explained with relatively theory. It could definitely explain the log time jump explain the 6 day calendar. Moons are also effected by time and space so it make sense that time passes relative to everyone.
ОтветитьMattpat did a combo of both your theories before he retired check it out maybe he was onto something.
ОтветитьNo wait. I’m already back.
Ответитьi actually cant wait for when lethal company is finished, with an entire completed narrative
ОтветитьBro cooked
ОтветитьThat shadow man is obviously The G Man 😎 he's back to finish Half Life 3
ОтветитьTheres no way this is possible, but could the name 'Sigurd' actually be referring to the crew or ship as a whole? This might explain how each generation of crew members is known as 'Sigurd', possibly because thats their ship name. If true, this could fill the 175 year gap in the logs.
Ответитьmaybe sigurd saw an old bird in early development?
ОтветитьIf there is any game that can beat my 4.9k hours in Terraria, it’s gonna be Lethal Company
ОтветитьI have a theory for the calendar and the entire date and time issue, so time depends on how long planet earth takes to rotate around itself and around the sun, it is pretty obvious that this is different between different astral bodies.
So then a year on earth isn't the same as a year on the moon titan. The theory is time in the lethal company universe depends on which moon you are.
Here’s my theory for why the log dating system makes no apparent sense: editing.
At first, Sigurd made his initial logs and left them behind for other people to discover. Over time new crew mates added their own logs to the database to expand upon what was already there. They also used the same techniques and terminology established by Sigurd.
At first Sigurd’s danger level was a danger level given by Sigurd himself. Over time it became Sigurd’s Danger Level, a proper name for the rating system kind of like the Duey Decimal System.
I have a theory
In v50 we got a cutscene when we entered the game, which showed someone on their computer. And it was very strange. But it certaintly has importance as in v60 we have a very similar thing. A cutscene where a person is floating through space (I believe they failed to reach their quota) and in both at the end we see a door apear. One shows someone who I call "The man" and the other doesnt but we can assume the man appears there.
In v50 cutscene, I believe it takes place in the Anglen capital in some sort of testing room as we can see a coilhead fall down, and people screaming. Most likely theyre being invaded by the old birds sometime in the 2100s. I believe the man, is trying to gather the smartest of people and the best way to gather them is when they are in really bad trouble and by themselves. Although I dont have good evidence. Now what is this mans goal we dont know. But it could be with the companys existance and maybe the person from v60 is desmond.
isn't the butler like a bunch of really smart hornets puppeteering a hollow corpse
Ответитьthis lore gives me chills bro
ОтветитьCan't help but notice that you used Minecraft's OST for this video
ОтветитьMy theory is that there was a calendar reset at some point. Maybe it was the swallowing of the golden planet or the thistle nebula was cut off from the rest of the galaxy, and the people that were left decided to restart the calendar to mark the change. I'm not too versed in the lore, so there could be logs talking about colonization or something in the 1900s that rebuke this. It's just my theory that the company came across a bunch of old logs from "the boat" that had information pertaining to what they're doing and decided to half-heartedly throw them into the computer to boost employee efficiency
ОтветитьMy theory is the shadow figure at the end of the office cut scene is the player from the space cut scene walking through the door
ОтветитьI feel like in the version 50 cutscene, it was Sigurd that appeared. it would also explain why the dates are incorrect, he could've time traveled. Or the times could be incorrect because of space time (which could completely debunk my theory). But Remember This Is Just a Theory.
ОтветитьThe Boat reminds me of Noah’s Ark…
ОтветитьI haven’t been this invested in a games lore, sense Matpat’s Minecraft theory’s and lore videos.
ОтветитьI think the shadow person is a company "person" taking you to the ship (probably without giving you a choice to not join)
ОтветитьPetition to call all old birds free birds and the creation of a mod where the "free birds" sing the song
ОтветитьThe figure at the end appears to be a person being atomized by some sort of bomb. Perhaps this office is on Artifice or a similar undiscovered moon. The bombs are likely from Old Birds. I do agree with it being the beginning of the war or at least a conflict within the ongoing war.
ОтветитьPlaying PMD:EOS right now and hearing the "future" light theme in the background over this video is oddly fitting.
Ответитьmatpat momment
ОтветитьHello everyone! After the official release of v50, I do have some stuff I need to clarify that was fixed between the beta and now.
Sigurd's inclusion in the Old Bird's entry has been removed. This means the discrepancy was not intentional, and Zeekers simply made a mistake. So much for that!
On top of that, it seems the shadow that shows up behind you in the opening cutscene has also been removed. I don't know how that could've possibly been a mistake, but who knows...
Anyways, that's all. Thanks for watching!
