Most NZers (from the 80s esp) as soon as the 1st few bars of this anthem comes on get nostalgic and tearful. I guess it's like a portal to the times, people and places gone. Thank you Neil for the reminder.

Neil and tim are 2 people that knew how to create positive good vibes music , there are not many kiwis that don’t enjoy either band, and if you’re an 80s kid then spit enz will always be that band that will make you feel good and remind you of how good that time the 80s were.

Love that Māori strum Neil. Some of the cuzzies take it to a new level. I wondered where it came from and then remembered childhood full of Hawaiian/Pacific music full of ukulele. I am pretty sure that had an impact and is reflected in the Māori strum.
