W vid unc, need more episodes 🔥🔥💯
Ответить"nobody is going to say they're a fan of steam" lmfao nah people say that without irony. It's like how some console players think console wars are still relevant.
Ответитьrichter jesus tf2
ОтветитьHow tf did they drag Casual in here
Dude is taken hostage 😭😭
why not on main channel? this is awesome. also the intro is very nice
Ответитьwoooooooooo richter!!!!
ОтветитьWhen zesty said he was getting a comp person for a podcast I assumed it was going to be Wildrumpus. Suprised it was casualtf2
Ответитьmy favorite chudlin now in podcast form! I really like the format, 1/2 hours is great for podcasts (that's why I don't like UFR that much, the episodes are too long). I only ask please don't make episodes about weapon balancing ideas, I'm so tired of this type of content and it literally adds nothing to the community or the game because it's 100% hypothetical slop.
Ответитьi used to play tf2 on a sofa with a laptop and a wireless mouse... and i was a pretty good sniper main
ОтветитьThe Official TF2 Podcast
Ответитьtf2 unc cast
ОтветитьHonestly another more mature* tf2 podcast is what I needed
Ответитьhey, is this episode of talkiing about tf2 is with the guy called funke? its like good convo with others nerdos
ОтветитьcasualTF2 is so well spoken, a good way to hold richter and zesty together
ОтветитьI take in a lot of TF2 content for someone who doesn't like TF2 enough to play it.
Then again, part of that is being unsure of if I'm at a preventable disadvantage due to network settings and being very sure that I'm at a disadvantage due to not using monitors with a refresh rate higher than 60hz. I know it's not helpful to say it here, but I feel like it might not be an awful idea for Valve to experiment with updating the default network settings to something that can be widely agreed upon as good and then enforcing those settings in Casual/Valve servers (while community servers can choose whether they want to enforce the Casual network settings or not). This would have the added benefit of taking cl_interp Spies out behind the shed.
Also, make tf_overtime_nag work on all game modes that can go into Overtime, not just King of the Hill. I think that's worth mentioning too.
Thank zesty for saving me from the evil fortress
ОтветитьThe matchmaking system, like in many other modern games, totally guts that ability to form friendships in-game. In order to keep the system going everybody is churned from game to game as quickly as possible. There is basically no breathing room, no real time to get to know the people you're sharing a server with. You just drift from one group of strangers to the next. It can make it feel like you're just playing against advanced AI instead of real people.
ОтветитьOne thing i gotta disagree on is how atleast outside of being a game dev valve being no better than other companies, especially on the steam front just imagine it any other company ran steam while under Valve is become a pseudo regulator forcing other companies to be better or atleast our their BS when it comes to Ai, crypto, or the in game ads policy in thier ToS trying to finally crack down on some of the early acess bs people tried to pull. And with the infinite money steam generates they try to push smaller niche parts of the industry forwards that people isnt making them much back with the steam deck and especially the valve index... That being said it makes how they treat Tf2 and now starting to look the same with CS2 even more unexcused doing so much in those other categories and dropping the ball so hard with those it makes it alot more frustrating
ОтветитьGood
ОтветитьI've contemplated trying my hand at modding tf2 into something like a tf3
idk if I'll do it, but at some point SOMEONE will have to do it, we can't stay in purgatory forever
We need Bigb! The people yearn for the gassy gemerald
ОтветитьGreat work! You have great alchemy
Ответить2Fort Tw3rker needs to be on this please zesty
ОтветитьPicked up the game in 2009, I feel a lot of ways about the direction of the game, I use to think Comp was the go-to, but the hyperfocus on it caused one of, if not the, most free formed FPS's of all time to fall from it's glory. This becoming a regular show would allow me to not only reflect on the past, but see what truly made me want to download it all those years ago.
ОтветитьRichter is NOT escaping the allegations with that self introduction 👍
Ответитьthis was entertaining af
ОтветитьBased
Ответитьholy shit it's the guy who talked about pl_badwater for 12 hours
Ответитьgood work
ОтветитьThis combo is like chicken and rice, peanut butter and jelly, holy shit
ОтветитьI started with TFC in the early 2000's so when TF2 dropped I bought it immediately for me and my wife. TF2 was a HUGE part of our early marriage and that was our thing that we did together. We had a couple of children and stopped playing for 4 or 5 years and came back to it in late 2011 and I decided to host a server on my PC and it turned into me renting 3 separate servers and one was a 24/7 koth_harvest map that stayed full. We had probable 500 or more people in our steam community called [S4L] and we have so many memories there. For many years after, I would get messages from kids that used to play in our server who are now in college, sort of like @CasualTF2 how he wasn't allowed to play and they would thank me for creating that space where they could hop into our server and be a part of a community. I ran the servers for a little over 2 years and it is some of my best memories online. I would give out unusuals and steam games to the community for events and winners of mge etc. My son was born in 2009 and I have videos of him on my server when he was 3 years old controlling the scout and getting kills then taunting, now he is about to be a junior in high school and my god the time flies. I enjoyed this podcast guys, keep it up.
ОтветитьAs someone who isn't that bright and started 2014-2015, I can say that although I don't understand the whole behind the scenes of how quickplay worked, It was better in most ways to casual. Casual feels bloated, messy, and slow. Way, way too many maps, games are always stomps from either your side or the enemy's, takes forever to find a game, and you'd be thrown in with only a minute left or literally at the end, yes I've been put in games that are already over and I didn't even get a chance to pick a team.

ОтветитьRichter interrupting and talking over people got kind of annoying. Let people at least finish their point.
Ответитьyou guys feel more real than 90% of the rest of the tftuber sphere, keep it up bois!!.
ОтветитьMYM - the 9/11 of tf2 but, we kept getting plane’s weekly for 10+ years
ОтветитьRichter, if you see this, for future episodes, just try to let people finish talking instead of interrupting.
Ответитьitd be cool if ur cohosts also got webcams
Ответитьi hope they count down in episode numbers to represent the regression of tf2
ОтветитьI haven't dug into this yet, but I'm seriously happy you got CasualTF2 on. His video about Understanding Dustbowl is still one of my favorite things ever made about TF2, and the notion of "shooting your foot before running a marathon because it was just too damn easy" has actually gotten me through a lot of hard times.
Ответитьyes.
Ответитьhell yeah brother
Ответитьtime to listen to yapping while i play blade and sorcery
ОтветитьOur New Podcast...thing. Let us know what you guys think, and what you would like for us to discuss on the next episode! If it's cool enough...we just might talk about it.
