Top 10 Hardest Soulslike Games

Lies of P is absolutely amazing.

I dont think fallen order was hard. Even for a soulslike. Survivor was a bit harder but still also not that hard. Just a bit unfair with the unblockables that lock on. Wolong was hard though that first boss had me steaming mad. Some random weird shit happened that let me go max level like in level 4 and it was till a challenging game

I love Wo Long but that first boss gave me ptsd

Still don't think hollow Knight is a soulslike. It's like if mega man and metroid added a souls leveling system and calling them souls like.

Tho lies of pi it's a lot harder to do a perfect parring, I'd say lies of p number 2 I haven't played nioh 2 yet.

Nioh 2… ah, Yatsu no Kami for a time, took the longest to defeat then came Minamoto no Yoshimitsu, my most favorite human boss. I really hope Rise of the Ronin can give the rush Nioh provided

Edit: just saw the Nioh section, and I forgot about Saito Yoshitatsu, yeah fuck that guy and his phantom yokai form. So happy I found a quick cheesy farming method to get his boss skill

Jedi is not a souls like, and is not hard. Two reasons to not be on that list. Remnant 2 also is not a souls like. This whole list is a joke. Nioh 2 is also not that hard. From this list, the hardest tree titles are blasphemous , hollow knight and Mortal shell. And where is Sekiro?

lol it’s funny I beat all these games and the only one that gave me trouble was Lords of the Fallen.. and not for the reason you might think.. very laggy and stuttery game 😅

I noih 2 was so hard it's the only souls like i could never beat...The menu boss and level design boss were unforgiving.

Nioh 2 still gotta get the hang of it but after beating Wo Long which was was really enjoyable I think I will take another crack at it.

Sekiro is beautiful though.. . And not too difficult if you mastered the combat

Nioh 2 is hard if you play it like a typical souls game (dodge and attack). It’s all about the combos, which apparently are impossible to do on a keyboard setup

I came here to watch games that I should not buy since I HATE “souls-like-games” but from the get go it thru me off because SW Jedi fallen order is not hard. Making this list useless for me! 😢

Nioh 1 already had a bunch of systems to master and Nioh 2 piles more on top of that. I can't imagine someone trying to play Nioh 2 without getting the basics down in Nioh 1 first. I played them back to back so I was able to flow better into it but still the hardest (and my favorite) soulslike I have played and I have played them all (except Wo Long, starting that next).

Nioh 1 and 2, and Wu Long are incredibly difficult. I haven’t played Lies of P yet but do want to check it out.

I have only played one Souls-like and it's Lies of P. I only played 2 games through completely and started playing games almost a year ago so when I started Lies of P I almost quit before I got started because the Parade Master took me about 20 or more tries, but I persisted and I am almost done with my ng+ run. I plan to do at least one more run so I can get all the Steam achievements. After that, I plan to play Sekiro since it is in my library. I hope afterwards the Lies of P DLC will have been released. King of Puppets, Simon Manus, and the Black Rabbit Brotherhood are the hardest fights for me. The other fights are tough, but I can understand the timing better. I especially like the Laxasia fight, and although he's frustrating, I like the Nameless Puppet fight as well. It's very rewarding to understand the timing, especially the second phase.

Just got the Platinum for Nioh 2... gotta do DLC now

I gave up on these Genres. I'm just not good for them and that just frustrates me to much. So, i just gave up. 😅

Lies of P was definitely my favorite

Started with sekiro as my first souls like game. Had no clue what souls games even were. Though Rpg are my favorite games. Couldn’t get past the first level. Lol. I was so excited for it and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Haven’t picked it back up since it’s release week. Got elden ring on release. Had no clue it was from the same developers. Lol. But after trying and trying. I actually GOT GUD! Just got lies of P last week finally after I’ve been waiting forever but saw people saying it needed lots of fixes. So I avoided all that. And idk how but I’m on level 7 and have only died 4 times. (I’ve been keeping count) and people are saying it’s HARDER than sekiro!! Is that true??? If so I would conquer sekiro right now. And I’m super excited to pick it back up. I’m addicted to lies of p. It might be my favorite game ever

Lies of P pre patch without summoning is worlds harder than those mediocre Nioh titles.

I love lies of pi, but i find the bosses very underwhelming. The firt 5 bosses i beat down first try. Really feel like it shouldn't be that easy

I got very close to getting a brain aneurysm last night playing Sekiro. Also kinda random but just because you're making a pixel game, doesn't mean you gotta make player see literally every pixel. Make the characters at least 32 pixels for everyone's sake.

I finished Lies of P then quit WoLong after the first boss. Feeling guilty that just got called out, because I just need to master parrying, damn i suck at it lol

Fallen Order was my first Soulslike. I loved it. Now trying Nioh, but damn. 😢

Okay seeing Wo Long in second gives me relief, i thought i was just bad 😂 that game is hard as hell but it was also my very first soulslike game. I just beat Lords of The Fallen so i might give Wo Long another try after i play Sekiro
