Hey bud I just saw a video and this guy was really bashing the rod and saying he couldn't feel anything on the bottom. I started laughing bud I think the guy just didn't like the rod. I don't have one yet I can't understand how he could not feel anything on the bottom. I really find that extremely hard to believe.

Only downside 1 year warranty. :( Shimano need to step their warranty especially when you are spending $300-400 on a rod.

If you like the adrena you need to get the poison ultima

I‘m considering to purchase a rod for the 3/8oz jackhammer with a yamamoto zako (3/4oz total). How about the adrena 610m-g(1/4-1oz)? Would this one work well or underpowered?

Can you also throw wobblers from 8-10g with the 172m 10-30g? I now have the Adrena 2.29m with 5-15g and find it too weak for twitching

Was thinking about the 6'11 for inshore salt reds. Outside of the nrx inshore there arent many option for super light weigh high quality rods for salt. Do you think this would would have the backbone to handle a 29inch red? Thanks

What’s the difference between the medium +, medium heavy and the heavy?

Just sent my 73MH PA in for a repair, hoping they replace it. The reel seat started moving out of place. While fishing you’ll start to notice the reel not line up with the rod guides, would have to twist the reel back into alignment. I put up with it and kept the rod until the tip broke while casting a 1/4oz Trig. That was the last straw so decided to pay the shipping fee to send it in for repair. Pretty disappointed in this $300+ rod.

I've got three (the 6'10" Medium, the 7'3"MH, and the 7'2"Heavy) for the last year and half, maybe its been two years, great rods- couldn't be happier with them. Do yourself a favor and get a couple if your looking for rods in that price range ($400). Get an NRX+ if you need a JWR or bottom contact for the sensitivity, but get a Poison Adrenda and save yourself $225 for any moving bait rods. The Poison Adrenas are plenty sensitive, I'll just willing to admit the NRX+ may be a little more sensitive.

Ok thinking about getting a couple of these for moving baits. I already have the 6'11. What would you pick for swim jigs and buzzbaits? Might use one of those to double as a chatterbait rod.

they have poison tiers higher than the adrena like the glorious and ultima...the ultima being the TOP of the line. i would like to see an improved grip on the adrena...if the rod gets wet or in high heat conditions to where you're sweating as if you were in a sauna....the rod tends to slip. otherwise, outstanding rod that's highly sensitive...nrx sensitive.

What do you think about that new expride. I have a Zodias 75H that I use to flip and cast 1/2 oz jigs from my jonboat and I love it but I’m looking at the expride 7H to use on my kayak since my Zodias is to long and is a pain to use from kayak. When I’m back in the jon boat I’d dedicate the expride 7H to flip and skip jigs and the 75 Zodias for casting my heavy stuff small swim baits and stuff

The Poison has a hook keeper. These slit slots where you put your pointer finger suppost to be hook keepers. However, I sometimes have difficulties getting my hooks out or find them blunt after using the slots

I have to agree. Poison Adrenas are amazing rods. In hand, they seem to weigh nothing and are unbelievably responsive. Hate to see that they just went up by $30, but such is the state of things. They are still very reasonably priced compared to other rods in their class.

Do you think that they might renew their Poison Adrena lineup? Since they have released a lot of new flagship technologies that they've implemented in their JDM rods (like Nonopitch carbon, X-Guide Aerotitanium, musclecarbon, Nono Alloy, new inverted triangle carbon monocoque handle, etc). I personally suspect that they may release new Adrena rods with the release of the 2022 Shimano Stella. Check out the new Poison Ultima and Exsence Infinity rods ;)
