i think the oil is breaking the ai because unlike bg3 OGsin2 you use action point to move as well that makes the ai unable to path correctly to spend its full action/take any action

I absolutely love this video! It gave me so many ideas on how to beat some bosses that I thought I would never will beat on higher difficulties. I remember first time watching this (yes I watched more then once) and got up from bed (it was probably 3AM) and starts playing DOS2 for the fourth time.

Ok so I know this is really old at this point but on the red troll you could have used the poison bulb that was down the hill from you and moved it right under the troll then shot at it with something that does fire dmg without hitting the troll directly it would have made it shoot poison out that immediately combusts lighting the troll on fire and him being on fire near the bulb causes it to puff out poison again and he will just slowly die only thing is you need to keep an eye on his HP because if it kills him without you being in combat you wont get any xp

Played DOS 2 back in 2018, finished the game, did not really know about the ending, honestly the concept of divinity is kinda weird to me.

full disclosure i never played DOS2 (it doesn't run on my main OS), but i am somewhat enthralled with people's battle strategies of bosses i've never heard of using mechanics i only vaguely know from watching a couple LP videos, and this is the most entertaining one i've seen so far (it's the cheese lover in me, how else did i get my bg3 golden dice?). i watched the whole damn thing. chestmancy part in act 1 was a personal favorite.
