Those guys didnt suffocate in that room?
Ответитьwhat i know that FM 200 is an asphyxiant...
ОтветитьFM-200 does not displace oxygen....it is safe for people.
Ответить這氣體沒有危害的毒性嗎??
ОтветитьActually FM-200 does displace oxygen. If properly calculated FM-200displaces the air to carbon content to 13%. This should also hold in the room for 10 minutes. This is where your hold time comes into play. Sapphire also displaces oxygen, but only to a level where the fire should extinguish, still humans can still operate. I don't believe this is an FM-200 release, I believe this is a sapphire release. Otherwise everyone in the room would have been taking a nap.
ОтветитьActually, FM-200 does displace oxygen, all gases do. FM-200 is designed to drop oxygen/carbon percentages to 8-13 % and choke the fire. Humans need 18% to stay conscious fire needs 24% to burn. If this was a FM-200 release the occupants of the room would most likely have not had the oppritunity to even get out. I believe this is a sapphire release, it is the only way this guys could have been in th room.

Ответитьcould it be an INERGEN system - non toxic and ozone safe
ОтветитьJust reading your comment , you know nothing !!!!
ОтветитьPlease see above !
ОтветитьWell, I'll tell that to the fire suppression company I work for. And next time you want to go out of your way to run your mouth, Then come to Va. so you can do so in person. I'd hate for you to feel like the bitch you are.
Ответитьhow do they stand there? If there is no oxygen, how do they stand there without mask or oxygen supply?
ОтветитьDuPont's web site soes in fact say "FM-200® fire suppressant can be safely used where people are present."
ОтветитьHalon isn't banned it just cannot be newly installed.
ОтветитьHow does it work? How does it stop flames?
ОтветитьSo much mis-information in these comments. I've been in both halon 1301 and FM-200 discharges and the only thing it did was make my wiener grow.
ОтветитьThat's cool. Well done.
What's the NOAEL and LOAEL in your country?
Any different effect on people among CO2, Argon, FM200 and Novec?
ОтветитьWow, light up a match in a FM-200 filled room, and the match is extinguished in a snap of a finger! Literally!
ОтветитьHalon
ОтветитьAMAZING EXPLANATION VIDEO
ОтветитьWhat is the specific provision in NFPA standards that states that a fire suppression system like the FM200 is required in conttol rooms?
ОтветитьI just had three of those tanks go off by accident next to me yesterday
ОтветитьLove the funky music along with the tests. Dates the video to when these systems were first out
