Yea. Carlos Lehder or his men did not murder anyone over real estate on Norman's Key. However according to a couple different books on the subject it did come to a point where Lehder himself or a couple other strawmen he had legally owned 80% of the island including the hotel. After that everyone else left were pretty well forced to sell or were threatened off the Island. The worst case was a father and teenaged son that tried to hard nose Ledher over a property. They were eventually marched to the airstrip at gunpoint and forced to take off and fly their own Piper Cub with almost no fuel in it. They lived but certainly never returned to the island.
