I'm here after trying yo blend my chest and head voice for like 2yrs. I pray this really helps.
Will update later.
I've been struggling with this issue and it's driving me nuts! I must overcome!!! Yours is the best video I've seen. I'm in the situation of many where I'm on disability and can't afford lessons or I'd be taking them now. I'll check out some more of your library.
ОтветитьGet that one if he's all right with it we can blow it up with a hair dryer.. see if he can get some part from Cameron.. that seems to help him a lot

ОтветитьSo good! 😍👏🎶
ОтветитьThe falsetto that you demonstrated is lacking the support that would give you the basis for a good voix mixte. My voice teacher of 40 years taught the supported head tone as the basis for everything for ALL voice types. Alas, she did not teach sopranos to conquer the lower passaggio. I am working to conquer it gradually by working with my voice coach to vocalize down to e below middle C, in a series of exercises that are new each time. It seems to be working; it even enables me to carry the mixed voice lower than before.
I am striving toward a smooth transition to cross that passaggio.
You know every times i do mix voice my vocal sounds like sissy 😢.
ОтветитьLmao that Brad Pitt make me laugh out loud.😂😂😂
ОтветитьSinging is not just about wanting to sing. Firstly, you need to assess if you have the talent, which only you can determine. Secondly, you should discover your key and identify the music genre that suits your singing voice. Thirdly, make practicing a daily and serious habit. Before considering voice lessons, familiarize yourself with all the aforementioned steps; it is crucial to know where you stand in your singing journey. Remember, only you can decide if you require a voice coach. A voice coach is there to teach techniques, but the responsibility of improving your singing lies entirely with you. Don't seek a voice coach without understanding your current singing abilities.
Singing is akin to wearing custom-fit shoes; you must be comfortable because not every song may suit your voice. Unfortunately, you can't sing every song you like; for example, replicating Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" may not be feasible. If you aspire to sing your favorite songs, test them out first. Only you can determine if you are comfortable with a particular song, much like trying on shoes before buying them—ensure to try and walk around to ensure genuine comfort without any discomfort or pain.
you talk too much
ОтветитьI definitely notice those breaks you describe in doing these exercises, does it get better with more intentional practice of simply trying to smooth out the connection? I do sometimes get it to work when going from low to high but high to low is much harder to be smooth.
ОтветитьStrange... I've been trying this on OO and EE and it doesn't work, but I can hum through it fine.
ОтветитьIt’s been years since I gave up w my vocal coach bc I got stuck and didn’t understand her explanations for getting rid of the heavy crack. May have finally gotten the tools I need to start working on it again, thanks to you 🙏✨
ОтветитьYou’re kinda brilliant! Glad I found you.
ОтветитьWHY'S BRAD PITT THERE AS A DESERT
ОтветитьYou have a lovely way to explain, especially through images and colours. For people like me, this is a blessing. Thank you Sir, now you have a new subscriber.
ОтветитьGood video to have an overview, I really learned a lot. but I think it doesn't have much details and tips when you actually have problems to make these sounds.
ОтветитьI laughed so much from this video and also learned a lots too. Thanks
ОтветитьSo awesomely helpful!! Thank you!!! :) Subscribed!!
ОтветитьThis was awesome and helpful. I will be seeking you out. Thank you.
Ответить@Spencer Welch Vocal Studio, Really great way to explain that to us but how can we implement these to songs? Do you have any video for that.
ОтветитьLol, “I love me some tiramisu”. I do love tiramisu. Thanks for vid.
ОтветитьI liked this simple explanation on breaks. Having sung professionally as an operatic singer (oratorio too), and taught hundreds of students over 48 years of teaching, one of my 16 year old baritones has a huge break in his voice. I've tried most of these exercises - vocal fry - siren - etc. It's getting better but I'm sending his this short video clip to see if he understands how to blend a bit better. He's extremely talented so I want to help him overcome this. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьHey Spencer, Great Vocal Tips !!! I've been toying around with a "singing straw". Actually, this has helped increase range; not sure of the physical science...? Are you familiar with them??
Ответитьif im 16 is it normal that i cant erase it totally?
ОтветитьI know im too late very much, but when i try the puppy exercise its only making voice breaks again like tarzan.. how to fix it?
ОтветитьLovely tutorial!!!!!!
Ответитьyour simpson voice though😂😂, thanks so much
ОтветитьThank you for this great explanation! Are there any exercises to train my chest voice to sound thinner and another one for thickening my head voice individually (as 2 different exercises)? If not, are there any way to know how a thinner chest voice and a thicker head voice sounds like?
ОтветитьYou are a real master of voice👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьI love your videos! the way you explain things and the funny punch lines every now and then which are pretty much on point haha the random dessert brad pic just sent me off laughing
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial, I'm from Indonesia and currently I'm still in junior high school. At school, I often hold singing competitions and since I often watch tutorials from this channel, I sing very well. Thanks uncle Spencer Welch ❤❤❤
Ответитьgreat explanation at the beginning!
ОтветитьMy problem is that my voice doesnt come out right away.. I didnt have a problen with the 1st and 3rd exercise. But the puppy sound, ny voice doesbt come out right away.
ОтветитьMarge Simpson 😂😂
ОтветитьThis Brad Pitt Method really works
ОтветитьYou're a great teacher! Bravo!
ОтветитьThis is grt! Thks refresher is always good i use sirens alot
ОтветитьThis channel is underrated, you're really a great teacher 😃👍
ОтветитьI do the puppy dog whine, and I drop right into vocal fry!
ОтветитьGreat video tutorial... thanks and god bless...😀
ОтветитьThe humming exercises made me realize I was singing out of my range. Brought it down and "suddenly" my singing improved.
ОтветитьWhy can't i find my mixed voice?😭😭
