2z + 2x + 3х = 5z
5х = 3z
x = 3/5z
y = 9/5z
так как все числа целые и однозначные, z должно быть кратно 5 и не более 9, следовательно слон = 5, жираф = 3, корова = 9.

The giraffe cow and elephant thing is an equation and a bit of logic I think. Here is my reasoning :

Let’s assume that : Cow = c ; Giraffe = g ; Elephant = e
Based on the shelves we get equation 1 (yellow middle thing is supposed to be a = sign) : 2c = 6g
Based on the TV we get equation 2 : 2g + c + 2e = 5e

First equation gives us : c = (6/2)g <=> c = 3g
Second equation while replacing c based on 1st equation :
2g + 3g + 2e = 5e
<=> (2+3)g = (5-2)e
<=> 5g = 3e
<=> g = (3/5)e
If we link the 2 equations :
c = 3g = 3*(3/5)e
<=> c = 3g = (9/5)e
<=> 5c = 15g = 9e

To solve an equation with 3 unknown variables I believe we lack a third equation though… so let’s look at the other info we have :
1) All numbers have to be inferior to 9 otherwise they can’t be of use with the locker
2) No 0 among the number : if one number equal 0 then all numbers equal 0 so that is no option
3) For this part of the equation to work : c = (9/5)e --> e has to be a multiple of 5 for c to be a whole number.
The only multiple of 5 from 1 to 9 seems to be 5 to me, meaning that e = 5.
So we get :
5c = 45 <=> c = 9
15 g = 45 <=> g = 3

Conclusion :
Cow = 9 ; Giraffe = 3 ; Elephant = 5

I hope it makes sense and I didn't make a mistake !

To everyone confused about the math part remember the following:
Giraffe = x, Cow = y, Elephant = z,
and the equations are 6x = 2y and 2z+2x+y=5z
at this point you can solve any equation you want first but solve 6x=2y fist, since the number of cows on screen is one then one cow equals 3 giraffes, from this point is easy just substitute x=3 into the equations.

May I know where is the clue for y=3z ?

The animal math problem makes absolutely no sense to me. 6 giraffes equal 2 cows? An elephant equals 5? What is this mess?

Been over it several times. Still can’t get my head around that fucking math. I’m legitimately upset that I can’t figure it out. Algebra was my strongest class in high school. What a waste.
