I had a dream where persephone came to me and introduced herself to me. Now, im no practitioner, so i don't know where to start. But everything about me seems to resemble her. The colors that I'm now obsessed with. Gardening that has consumed my life. Certain crystals that call to me. That i am more than obsessed with floral smells especially rose lately. There's of course more to it i understand that, but i feel like I'm being called by her. I don't know how or where to start. Should i try to Meditate and see if she'll speak with me? Should i try and use my pendulum?

Hey.. can somebody answer my question?? I am not a witch and tbh i never knew about witches and all if they were even real. I wasn’t even that spiritual till last year It all happened to me this year itself that I began to pray to hindu gods and goddesses being an Indian myself.
A little story about me:
A have been taking interest in occult since 2-3 months and used to watch videos related to these deities helping people when they were in need.
One day i met with such a situation myself and if i summarise that i was being blackmailed by a man and my self respect was at risk. I didnt know about anything i dont know why but i just prayed to goddess hecate having watched a video about her couple days before the incident and she helped me turn the situation in my favour. I didn’t even know about her. I asked for her help again and she again almost turned the impossible situation in my favour. I am an Indian and I dont know if she is calling me or not. I haven’t seen her in a dream or anything or had any other symptoms but she always listens to me. After completion of my first desperate wish i presented 11 rupees to her as an offering and now i have promised to give her 3 roses to her as well as a key.
So my question is
Is she calling out to me ?? I am an indian and honestly have had a pretty rough childhood with all sorts of abuse (physical,mental, sexual, emotional you name it)
And still live with my parents how can i connect with her?? Do i need to have an altar? How can i make a hidden altar and what should place for her.
Please help me out i am a beginner or should i say i am confused. My heart wants to know her i dont know if its just a placebo effect

It’s funny but I’ve aligned with the occult my whole life and had wanted to and tried since I was little to along with Paganism but it just didn’t click for me- I sort of felt sad because I love and felt connected to nature and deities but there was no one to teach me and I had limited information but still it felt like something was out there beckoning me and I come from a toxic Christianity background so to finally learn about these dark Goddesses and Gods, finally I am feeling all the things everyone says you should feel when you worship. And it was so great to think “yes ! I am prequalified for once in my life, I am perfect as I am, broken and mouthy and as a rebellion, and as an outcast.” I don’t know how else to describe it. Like maybe there is a place in the world for me and I am supported. When I started listening I realized I had been getting these nudges and whispers all along.
I feel drawn to Bast, Freya and Lilith.. I heard that aspects of these other deities are part of Lilith so that is how I came to think it’s her. I also had this particular gemstone spring to my mind: Golden sheen obsidian which is perfect for her bc it helps with transformation and self power but the grounding and shielding of obsidian too.

I also feel like I’m being called by Lucifer too. I think they probably work together sometimes in different ways for the same goals.

Anyway, I struggle with just accepting the simplicity of connection like when you said you can simply just meditate that you are meeting her or that you visualize her stepping into you, is it really that simple?
I heard that the ceremonies and rituals are more for us humans to get our minds and hearts open to them because they’re always there and like you said can always hear us so is that it?

i used to be a christian but went through a long time where my faith wained and i couldnt follow that anymore despite my attachment to it. it was nyx that reached out to me in this low time, she makes me feel what i was told being a christian was supposed to make me feel. she reminds me to be strong in the face of the unknown.

I say all this to explain I was scrolling for some content, and a video popped up on the History of Hecate: The Goddess of Witchcraft on my feed here! *I haven’t ever look her up, I didn’t know who she was, nor have I ever looked up spiritual information online- I’m old fashioned and love a good book! And no, she hasn’t come across anything in my reading; I didn’t even know you could worship goddess until about 45 minutes ago.* Stunned, I got this warm feeling in my stomach through the whole video and it felt like my body was vibrating- I just felt intuitively that it was meant for me to see and either she, my spirit guides, or them together called me- I’m answering. I just didn’t know how, and wouldn’t you know the first video under the recommended was this one; a how to and expectations, I just know this was her reaching out! Hecate sent me Sophia (my black rescue dog) 10 years ago. It was the start of the worst 8 years of my adult life. Knowing her now and putting the pieces together...I KNOW she was watching over me before I even knew she existed. I wouldn't be here without Sophia and subsequently, Hecate.

Some months ago, I (30's, M) started looking into, falling in love with, and worshipping Kali. All kinds of weird, fascinating, and positive stuff started happening in my life. Then, almost all at once, I lost almost all my friends. I can't tell if this is coincidence or not. Been afraid to take up the work again since.
