How to Download Texmod for Guild Wars

uMod is so much better. No graphical bugs, no longer loading screens and you can even change your texture files while you are playing.

tried this guide on windows 10 it didnt work unfortunately

I'm on Windows 10 too and it doesn't work anymore, i have no solution. A video about it will be nice =)

I downloaded TexMod, the 2017 .tpf file, and the 2009 .tpf file today. Installed everything correctly, etc. and ran the game. Not working. The map just doesn't change. Extremely frustrating. Windows 8.1

Did everything word-for-word. Works like a charm. Thanks!


Update: I tried this out a few times and it's pretty buggy. I get graphics issues sometimes when I rezone to different areas of the map. Sometimes I get a light blue screen. Do you normally have any issues?

I just downloaded it today, works as fine as in the video. I am using the current version of Windows 10.

Thank you so very VERY much, Reborn! With this I finally managed to get things working! For people who can't get this to work on Windows 10, try running Textmod in Admin mode, that was the only way I could get it to run.

Dec 2020, windows 10. Works after playing with it a bit. Remember to make the textmod compatibile with your system + run it as admin. At first I was disappointed but now I'm happy! Thanks :3

mine jsut came up with "d'oh shit happened" ... edit ... ok it works :D now lets find that cheeky 1.2% that has eluded me for 10 years

The last version 2017 is bugged, use always the original file 2009 Edition - The Complete Collection

I can't find the guildwars file, mainly because its apart of steam I think

Sept 2024, Windows 11. Downloaded the 2017 texmod + I followed everything and when I run the file and login to gw everything is normal. Any idea on what went wrong?
