The greatest American actor in our lifetime.
ОтветитьNão tem legenda em português amo faroeste
ОтветитьMcQueen, the "kid" in this movie, was 36 years old.
ОтветитьOne of the most underrated westerns ever! Top ten in my book!
ОтветитьOne of my favourites all the time great legend actors Steve Mc Queens and carl Malden in 1966 Nevada smith
ОтветитьMalden received an Oscar for "A Streetcar Named Desire" and a nomination for "On the Waterfront." McQueen never won squat, because he couldn't act.
ОтветитьDirected by the great Henry Hathaway, same man who did True Grit, Sons of Katie Elder, How the West Was Won etc.
Hathaway, Ford, Hawks...all long gone, that's why you never see a decent western.
Tom horn was good to
ОтветитьCarl can play bad or good in movies
ОтветитьThat kid would be low enough pickpocket an American Express card
ОтветитьThis is the first film i recall as a child of five or six years. Just even before BONANZA.
ОтветитьCarl Malden was just an actor,You need to get real.
ОтветитьWith the anal retentive American censorship in the 60's, Nevada Smith was never going to be a good film adaptation from the Harold Robbins novel The Carpet baggers.
ОтветитьThanks !
ОтветитьOne of my all time favorites.
ОтветитьI saw this movie in 1966...and I hated Carl Malden then and I still hate him now! I tell people I don't hate anybody then I remember how much I hate this man!!!!
ОтветитьGreat condensed clip. Got the whole basic story and ending.
ОтветитьI remember my dad taking me to see this movie when I was about 8. Great movie, IMO. I never forgot it.
Ответитьbest prequel ever made.
Ответить5 stars
ОтветитьThanks for that. An excellent compilation of a great western. And, my favorite Steve McQueen movie. The only thing missing was the lovely Suzanne Pleshette strutting her stuff as a field hand.
ОтветитьHaven't seen this in years! Amazing movie. RIP Steve McQueen. Enjoy all the talent.
ОтветитьHe was lookin’ fer the man that shot his pa.
ОтветитьSuch a good movie.
ОтветитьThrowing his gun in the river was stupid. Bit like Rambo walking into the jungle, shirtless, at the end of Rambo 3, lol.
ОтветитьThis was a classic he hunted all them down like dogs . This movie was made when westerns were almost done but survived
because of Steve McQueen .They played this movie on Saturdays and Sundays when TV had about 5 channels.
I wish these clips kept the line where he says "They don't even look human." It really let you know the kind of brutality the killers showed.
ОтветитьLove this movie. One of the best westerns ever!
ОтветитьGreat film, but the book was better.
ОтветитьI failed to see this movie. My flaw. My pocket change was too limited back then. I felt funny.
ОтветитьMy goodness! Where have they been hiding this movie?
I saw it at a movie theater in 1965, but have never seen it on TV
or cable channels.
I wanted to see the part with Brian Keith
ОтветитьAmerica, built on a fantasy, built on a lie
ОтветитьGREAT film. Perhaps McQueen's best.
