We all know this actually inhibits any amount of competitiveness the league has to offer now. This only stops other clubs reaching the heights of Manchester City...

When are we actually going to penalize them, individually???

All the clubs that voted against the rules are oil clubs, Newcastle, Aston villa are the same with man city..They don't want a fair play, i mean how selfish and self centered can they be.

I believe in islam loans which come with intrest is classed as riba.Which would then be classed as haram. So for instance Man City owners who are musilims can't give out a loan with a intrest rate. I dont see an issue with a intrest free loan from the owners of the clubs. isnt it there duty to protect the clubs they own?

I think it would be fair to slap on a £400 million fine and demote them to championship and deduct 115 points.
That seems fair!

It's like an older brother saying "you're not allowed to eat ice cream", then they check with mum who says "he is allowed to eat ice cream", then the older brother says "oh ok, you can eat ice cream but not more than 1 scoop and only once a month". This is literally going straight back to court, so stupid

So, let me get this right...other clubs break the rules and are immediately punished. Manchester city dont like it, take the prem to court, then the prem change the rules. City will get away with this.

The Premier League haven’t “won” anything. Such dishonest journalism. They LOST the case on these rules, and just because they passed a vote for these amended rules, it remains to be seen by the same tribunal whether or not these amended rules are lawful.

1. Who were the other 3 clubs to vote against this? Why not mention them?!
2. The other investigation is absolutely nothing to do with this case.
I’m not a city fan but this seems like a bit anti-city.

Both the premier league and City are wrong. The premier league, especially.

Give other clubs the chance to grow and compete.

Instead of telling each club how much they can spend, create an equal spending for every club, regardless of winnings.

You can say, no club can spend above let's say £1m. Now, it's up to individual clubs to decode how much they want to spend as long as it's below the cap.

But to tell ome clun they can't spend passed 300million, but another club can spend up to 1 billion, is a fool's games.

I feel terrible for Newcastle fans, as soon as they were bought by wealthy owners, the premier league all of a sudden are doing this, yet Chelsea under Abramovich won by spending unchecked and UTD for years spent unchecked, followed most recently by city
