My experience with Skyrim: "95 hrs of gameplay..maybe it's time to start the main quest."
Its a great game but I highly advise to play it with mods as it changes a lot of things for the better.
Still need to play the Dawnguard dlc but the one placed in Morrowind was amazing.

How about one for Final Fantasy 15?

Truly a timeless masterpiece.

I think Bethesda should go to Nexusmods, check the top 100 mods for Skyrim, pick the non nude ones and make TES 6 with them. Skyrim is awesome and the next TES needs little improvement over TES 5 to be succesfull.

The intro exposition is written and delivered so heavy handed that I cringe.
The main quest and world is lacking in likeable interpersonal relations towards the player or RPG interaction at all. Serena and Paarthurnax being the two I recall as interesting.
The UI choices are way too sleek and modern to get the fantasy feel. Like the live satellite map which ruins exploration when you can see the hole darn land from there instead of finding it for your self, whilst also removing you from the character perspective, disturbing the immersion.
Follow-the-arrow style quests are unengaging.

GOOD
An agile leveling system where not everyone levels with you. (Looking at you Oblivion.)
Shouts are cool.

OVERALL there are so many bad design choices that I'd call it a very shitty RPG, but an OK+ action-adventure game.

Skyrim > Witcher 3 by far

Play Witcher 3 after this. Then you will get a feeling of a cheap alternative. Both games are good but Skyrim is unique.

I'm very intrigued about that Beautiful game statement goes in comparison with what? The first zelda game? Magus? Fear?. Not saying that it needs to be as beautiful as a naughty dog game. But Witcher 3 is A LOT more beautiful.

I played Skyrim when It first came out and it got me through a tough breakup and I got lost in the World of Skyrim and forgot about her haha. I still play it to this day and own it on Xbox, Ps4 and Switch. One of my favourite games of all time and can't wait for Elder Scrolls 6 and waste another 10 years of my life haha

Gonna start playing this over the weekend. I might skip modding it, though, since Bethesda is releasing the Anniversary Edition as a free update in a couple months, and I want to be able to transfer my current save to it (provided it turns out to be worth it, of course).

I think it could really be an awesome game but that glitch with weapon collision annoys me majorly. I have it on the Xbox one X. I wish they enabled mouse and keyboard compatibility like in other games as I think it might fix that collision issue. Apparently now November the 11th on Xbox Gamepass they releasing the special edition so might download and give it another go. Apparently they've updated quite bit on it so thanks for the input from your vid.

I found the witcher 3 too grindy just to progress through the early storyline. Hopeing this is more fun in its progression and playability. The only thing bothering me from watching this review is the unreliable hit box when fighting. Its a major piss off when you know you got the last hit in but its not registered and the enemies counter strike kills you 😱. Might still get it on ebay though.

Opening music is amazing

I bought this game because of the hype and many videos just like this that gave it good scores. But, one thing I do not understand is was this game rated for early 2000s score or 2021 score? If this was released in early 2000s I'd say ok 10/10 is spot on. But in 2021 with PS5 out and PS4 holding its ground along with 24Gig graphic cards out there this game is complete trash and that's being nice. Ya maybe the map and amount of gameplay and story is good. Gameplay though? Absolutely horrendous. When you swing a sword and the enemy is right in front of you and the hit doesn't count is just enough to shut the game off. Even if for some magical reason like me you look past that how in the world can you sit there and tell me that multiple choice text dialogue is ok in 2021? Not sure what else to say but how in the world are people giving this game anything more then a 1? The only reason I would even give it a 1 instead of a 0 is for the music. But who buys a game for music? Anyways if you played a real modern open world game like Red Dead 2, Ghost of Tsushima, GTA V, or anyone the last few Assasin Creed games this gsme is flat out unplayable. Don't waste your money if you want a modern game. This is beyond outdated and belongs in early 2000 shelf.

Is a bit weird u gave Skyrim 10/10 but Oblivion only 9.5, when Oblivion is the far superior game. Much better quests, more interesting and pleasant world, better RPG mechanics, and is not as dumbed down as Skyrim.
