For CQB I was using my VZ-61 scorpion from tokyo marui however it gave me a lot of problems. Also I couldn't really find nice pouches for it either. So I decided to go a bit more modern and reliable with the good old TM MP7A1 GBB. Going gas means more problems in consistency, heavier magazines, less ammo, needing to gas up from the mags. However it comes with a lot of advantages as well. Blowback (which I love) more realistic operation, easier to fix and clean and better reliability in the field itself.
I chose to get a pre-upgraded model for the added benefits of having a team of techies to support you when shit hits the fan and some nice guarantees of them fixing it should I manage to break anything in the first 12 months. I got mine custom made by the OPS-Store which is a french airsoft retailer. I haven't had to good of experiences with shipping from some other countries and in my own airsoft stores are mainly ripping you off by adding another 10-50% price increase.
For my loadout I went with:
- Invader gear QRB plate carrier
- Kydex customs uk mp7 TM pouches
- Kydex customs uk radio holster
- Kydex customs uk glock holster / dropleg mounting system
- Baoffeng UV-5R radio (with 3800mAh extended battery)
- Earmor m32h mod 3 hearing protection
- OPSMEN Earmor to kenwood tactical PTT adapter
things I use in any loadout but aren't in this video:
- Swiss eye raptor eye protection (with prescription insert)
- Invader gear combat pants and T-shirt (long sleeve for cold weather) (black for CQB/Polsim and camo for outdoor/Milsim)
- 101 inc mesh face mask
