These "People" are ranting and raving about saving the engines to a ship that is already sinking... What happened to saving the life rafts? Our only true asset is Our Children. I'm now learning that it isn't 60%... it appears the real number is more like 70% that don't have the ability to read, write and do math. That means... about 3 out of every 4 people are illiterate. That's not astounding... It's alarming! Imagine yourself being 1 in 4 people that can read and understand the labeling on a grocery item. Or you are 1 in 4 households that understand the obligations to budget billing. Now multiply that by the number of bureaucrats that are running Our Government. President Carter established the Department of Education in 1979. Where has it gotten us? Here we are a generation later and it's only gotten progressively worse. This is what Parents have been calling out for Decades that only seemed to be falling of deaf ears... in which Our Government sent the FBI to arrest! Here's one for the books that no one seems to be pointing out. The One or Two Dollars that you spend on the Lottery... about 4% of that money is supposed to go towards education on top of our tax dollars we already pay. How's that working out for everyone? As of today... Powerball is at $172 Million Dollars... Where's all the money going? "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"... 1 Timothy 6:10. Someone needs to start looking very closely into what he is doing and who his own political donors are. Just on the surface alone... should raise an eyebrow or two... and he's only one Senator and that's not counting anyone else. Anyone remember Schumer's speech about tariffs with Corona Beer and avocados? Seemed to me his speech wasn't about tariffs... it looked more like a commercial for Constellation Brands. Teachers are over worked, under payed, by their own supplies because the billions of tax dollars don’t pay for supplies. Teachers are stressed out because public school administrations don’t back them up and let children say and do whatever they want. Teachers are attacked. Where are our tax payer dollars going? Every election year there are new initiatives and taxes to go to the schools yet they get worse and worse every year with more money. Yes let’s start protecting our public schools. But let’s not throw good money after bad money. Let’s find out exactly where our money is going. Protect our schools
