ОтветитьTo me, doing one set to failure is much preferable to doing 3-5 less intense sets. That's mental torture.
ОтветитьThere is a genuine sense of panic as one inhales for the last rep of a 0 RIR set. The wieght may very well not make it back up. I always tell my spotters before hand that i am pushing to failure and i might not get the last rep. If we can get the wieght back to the first rung thats perfect

I think I heard somewhere that the are two types, the grinder and the suddenly gassed, I think jeff is the former and I'm pretty sure I'm the latter ... Would love to see 0 RIR for that type as well! I think I'm going to failure, specifically on isolation exercises, or at least to 1 RIR ... Would be hard to imagine that I have couple more reps in the tank XD
