Two generations of Gadsden family photographers captured family-life and major family events on film. The resultant collection of 'home movies' spans over six decades of Australian life.

'Gadsden Family Saga' (Reel 167) is a composite of several different sequences in different periods of time, including the 1934 floods in Melbourne, tennis and gardens in the 1930's, beach scenes in the 1950's and the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and royal visit.
