I knew for years of my irish ancestry. I even have some old documents from past family in irish. Though nó one in my family speaks it, I have been doing my best to teach myself irish and use it when I can. Not completely good at it but its a work in progress. I used it once on the way to a deployed location in 2021 and Shannon Ireland was one of our stops. I loved it.

Song was made for a championship run that fell short but in the process became a timeless masterpiece! Irish or not (American myself), feet will stomp, hands will clap, and everyone will feel the Irish roar!

The process of me finding this song was also quite arduous. I became interested in the Irish tutorial character Murhad Magdonhad in the game Crusader Kings 3, and became interested in Irish history. After that, I searched for the history of Ireland under British colonial rule, as well as the resistance movement songs called 'Rebel Songs'. Finally, my Irish exploration ended with Irish Roar and Rocky Way to Poland, but just like the lyrics of the song, hope will continue beyond this screen. I'm reporting from Korea.
