Seems like the Anycubic 4 Max Pro should be next, close in price to that printer with a bit larger print volume, same enclosure set up as well.
ОтветитьYes Angus with his own opinions and not scripted like the Asus video
ОтветитьThe Y carriages are straight up copies from the Makerbot Replicator (1st gen)...
ОтветитьLooking great👍
Thanks for sharing this great video👍😀
Am I the only one who finds the brand name very unfortunate? 😂
ОтветитьThe chrome is probably used because it's cheaper to use chrome plated iron (stuff that rusts) than stainless.
ОтветитьDo you have a podcast like “the melt zone” if not you should do one I think a lot of people would listen
ОтветитьThe sad part about this printer is it is basically going to become outdated by the Prusa Mini
ОтветитьThat name makes me think of City Wok in South park .. maybe not the best of names
ОтветитьI already have a printer yet I love watching printer reviews. No idea why...
ОтветитьI have a qidi Ted x-one 2
ОтветитьI keep hearing "Cheaty Tech"...
ОтветитьHey Guy’s, just FYI, Autodesk is starting to charge additional fees on top of the yearly subscription to use Fusion manufacturing. This is just the start of squeezing us for money to recoup the development expense. I’m sure they are going to start restricting the free version too, unless you start paying. Make sure to back up your files outside of Fusion.
ОтветитьI picked up and X-Max and it's been a solid printer so far.
ОтветитьThanks for the Review-I have been looking at this printer for my son bc of the air filters. Can you touch more on them?? We have birds and fumes and Teflon heated at a high temp can kill them. Does this filter out the fumes and exhaust out the back? If so can a dryer vent be attached to vent out a window? Thanks so much!
ОтветитьRolling pin is definitely for filament storage but out in the open may not be the best idea
ОтветитьIt seems that putting a trashcan on top is quite popular for the recent enclosed 3d printers.
ОтветитьUS $499 Via amazonlink, US$409 (current discount of 15%) via the gearbest link. Damned expensive. No wonder they recommend it for schools.
ОтветитьTreeeeeeees
ОтветитьThat moment when you realize the Prusa Mini has a bigger build volume...
ОтветитьI think they intend to pronounce QIDI as "Kiddie"...
ОтветитьWhat's the noise level for this one?
ОтветитьI love my Qidi Tech 1 (the dual extruder one) and it's been bullet proof with excellent repeatability even after long durations between use. I've had it for 3 years now. The only tweaks I made to it were the cooling fan duct and I added a magnetic bed. It's a great setup! This new version, even though single extruder, looks like a great deal given the price and all those extra new features.
ОтветитьThis looks like a smaller updated tech version of the X-Max, which is a massive piece of crap. The cooling issues mentioned here are very bad with their extruder design, which looks exactly like the X-Max. The support is good, but they have had to send me replacement parts over and over again trying to solve issues with their poor design.
If you are just looking for ok prints in an enclosed printer this may be fine, but my experience with Qidi has not been great even with their top end machine.
Prusa Mini would be a much better option for the price, although it's not enclosed.
Angus if you open a web browser and type in the ip address of the cam you might find an image there.
ОтветитьI have a qidi tech x-one 2 and it is decent considering it is only $300
ОтветитьI still prefer the ANYCUBIC I3 Mega ultra base. Once the part has cooled there is no adhesion, but until then it holds extremely well. No flexing or anything like that, the part just lifts off as if the part was just sitting on a kitchen table.
ОтветитьThat switch for mains is completely safe in US, going from 110V too 230V WHEN you have 110V mains might make the printer slower to heat up.
HOWEVER, if you switch from 230V to 110V when on 230V that IS a game over move, all the magic blue smoke will escape.
Main point: Its Chinese, It has a camera and ethernet. I like how this is going
ОтветитьWow you really don't understand the voltage difference. It's game over for you guys because we get less voltage. It'll just be slow for us. For you shit will pop.
ОтветитьI would like advice, as print quality I am undecided between a Qidi x-plus or a Prusa i3 MK3S, what do you recommend? leaving out the Prusa after-sales service.
ОтветитьIf you accidentally flicked the switch, could you ever get it to work after?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if this machine can safely and sufficiently print with Nylon?
ОтветитьExcelent video!
Ответитьplease tell me its overall dimensions.
ОтветитьWhich is better?
QIDI TECH X-Maker or Flashforge Adventurer 3?
Did he say it will not print flexible plastic?
ОтветитьI just ordered this printer and can not get it to connect via wi-fi its hooked to my router says its connected on the printer but the slicer won't find the printer. I think they need to work on the software a bit more there is no real instruction for trouble shooting wi-fi issues besides that its a nice machine.
ОтветитьTHERE IS NO INTERNAL SPOOL HOLDER ANYMORE!!!
I just received one, from Amazon proper. The internal spool holder on the left side is nowhere to be found on the current version.
so i have this and when i print it makes the print temp go to 190 but its to cold my pre heat is 226 but when i print, it goes to 190 and that is to cold for my PLA. so i tried to make it hotter and succeeded but not at 220 its burning my PLA and i don't know why. and its clogged
Ответитьid like to beat this printer with a bat. what a POS!
Ответитьok i fixed it but my clog but the printer still thinks the print temp is 190 how would i fix that?
ОтветитьWhere can I download this underwater theme for the slicer? :)
Ответитьi have this printer i like it i'm a newbie
ОтветитьMine died on the 2nd print. No power no nothing.
ОтветитьHonestly, I think Octoprint is better than anything built in, but I use Klipper, so a little advanced.
ОтветитьI've had this machine for a couple of years now. It was my first buy when I decided to get into 3D printing, probably because of your review. It's been trucking along ever since, I haven't had any major issues with it at all and it's reliability probably helped keep me in the hobby even when the Ender 3 I got later down the line had some issues. (Those weren't even the machine's problem, either, I was a complete novice and also got an exceptionally crappy roll of filament!) I like to print action figures so I'm mostly printing small parts, the build volume is perfect for something like that.
A warning, though, if you decide to print PETG with this printer, it's a little too excellent at sticking to the build plate - Be sure you replace that magnetic plate with a nice sheet of G10! I ended up ripping some chunks out of the magnetic plate that came with the printer, and had to throw it in the trash.
My only "gripe" about the X-Maker is that it's a bit loud, it seems about twice is noisy as the Ender 3 Pro. It probably makes a big difference that I'm often in the same room as the printer.
Hi I have the same printer but lost its pen drive. The other pend drives dont work. How make it solve this issue
