Thank you for the great insights and the explanation of the design choices, can't wait to see your alternates! Out of curiosity, why did you put sticky notes in the manual? :)
ОтветитьI really only had one question, and I understand its probably for a good reason. But why isnt the steering wheel connected?
ОтветитьThat's a really neat model and I like that it's not that big as previous super car models. The headlight parts are awesome new mould. I hope we'll keep getting such parts in more colours that can close up the panel constructions on the corners.
ОтветитьI LOVE YOU MILAN! You have elevated my joy from Technics to another level! You inspired me to build my own B-models! Soon I will put my first instruction on rebrickable :) This Ford GT looks absolutely fantastic. I am really excited about building it soon!
ОтветитьI know b models is your jam I have a request. I would like to see a Nissan GT-R r35 I think it would be very nice at this scale and the colour scheme would work in your favour
ОтветитьLooking forward to purchasing this amazing model
ОтветитьSo... A Mark 4 as a B model this time? XD
ОтветитьTnx for Very Honest review, 🙂😄
ОтветитьYou designed my absolute favorite Technic set 42069!! These gullwings look very complex, the angles are insane. I can't wait to get my hands on this one. I wanted to ask you a question because I heard you talk about motorizing it: when you design a set like this, do you factor in the size of motors? Or is there just too much other design work to think about it? I was always curious about this because some sets seem to have the perfect spacing. I had always assumed the fake engine was where you put the motors. :-)
ОтветитьI started building this today March 2nd. I'm about halfway through right now and it is really good. I love your creative use of parts and the interesting techniques you used to build. It's fun to build something that's not like anything else I've ever built in Technic. I'll check in again once I'm finished. Okay I finished it. I've been collecting Technic since the 1990s and I have to say this is my favorite Technic car of all time.
ОтветитьIf I am not mistaken then for the first time ever mentioned in manual and with typo :-D Seems it needs to be fixed soon by introducing some new exciting model this time with proper name :-) But in general, great job ... as usual :-)
ОтветитьMilan, I am your huge fan and I do hope you are already working on some exciting projects! And that you are not bored making them :)
Hope for one more big collaboration between you and Markus, like with Mack.
Cheers and have a great weekend!
PS. waiting for the alternate! :D
EDIT:
because I was too excited. This one is amazing. More from the back than from the rear, but it looks great :)
It was a surprise to see my Ford GT in your review, thank you so much for that comparison :) Your Ford GT is perfect, I hope I will be able to buy it soon.
ОтветитьNice interesting insights!
ОтветитьDream job to design such cool projects =) Great work!
ОтветитьCongrats on a stunning project!
ОтветитьPěkná práce, gratuluji k povedenému počinu.
Co rozhodlo, že to musel být moderní Ford GT a nikoliv třeba můj moc oblíbený Ford GT40 1966 ?
The model looks great except for the headlights sloping downwards like you mentioned. I noticed it from the very first pictures and my eyes keep drawing to that area thinking it's some Ferraris. Other than that, I'm still a fan of your Mack truck and Land Rover designs
ОтветитьLooking forward to building this one! Even more so now that I know a little insider info on the design!
ОтветитьI wanted to thank you for your awesome designs. Can I say your dinosaur riding a Go cart alternate build to the Shelby Mustang is a massive hit with the children at the shows I take it too. It should have been the A model for the pleasure and laughter it brings. I always acknowledge your work. I ask the kids. What happens when you stand on a dinosaurs tail? Their reactions are priceless. Thanks again.
ОтветитьComplaints about wheel size are very common. In part that might have to do with the fact that on many toy and model cars the wheels are way bigger than would be correct for the scale. So we are used to seeing exaggerated wheels that resamble designer sketches rather than production cars.
ОтветитьI love this set so much! Thank you for this amazing set! However, I would really love to see a solution to lower the rear suspension by any means.
ОтветитьSALUT MY FRIEND , SUPER CAR SUPER VIDEO , SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE ....
Ответитьfrozen headlight? steering wheel without function? a lot of space between archers and wheels? are you blind or something...are you sure it's not a maserati mc12? ^^
ОтветитьNumber one on my wish list for this year! :-)
ОтветитьBest lego technic car since 8466, great color, lots of features as for set at this scale,
accurate shaping. Great work
Thank you so much, you did a great job ❤️
ОтветитьCongrats for yet another highlight in the current Technic line-up. Another proof that smaller scale can still look good and have the same functions as a 1:8 scale monster costing thrice as much.
Since it was discussed on EB forum, I also wonder why the new 5M axle with CV joint ends was done as a one-piece part instead of splitting it and allowing different length axles to be created. Did Markus design that part? Maybe you can share some insights on the different variants that were tested and why this limited use specialized part was chosen.
I appreciate that you tried to limit the color palette to dark blue, grey and black, but it's a shame some elements that are currently available in those colors were still replaced with red, white, lime, blue... The most annoying are the visible 2M axles (57x), bushes and pins with tow ball in red. For a kids sets it would be expected, but does an adult targeted set have to be really dumbed down like that? Even for absolute new comers the amount of bags the parts are sorted in and the ridiculous number of building steps make it impossible to use the wrong part anyway.
Awesome set! Bought it day1😁
ОтветитьAmazing build! Can't wait to see how you make it motorized. Would love to do the same with this stunning model.
ОтветитьI like the technique features and the brick built white stripes. That's it. Perhaps Lego shouldn't have gone for this car. There are cars that are just not suited to be built with bricks. The GT clearly is one. They should have gone for the 67 model instead, I think
ОтветитьThis is about to be my first Technic set. I just love the design and price is just right.
ОтветитьIm having some issues regarding the rear wing. When everything is aligned just right, it kinda works decently. But pretty much picking it back up and putting it down causes the friction to be too great again. The brown axles that guide the spoiler seem to be the culprit
This makes the red axle just flex down, instead of being pushed in
Is there something im missing? I cant spot anything build incorrectly and made sure to have every axle run smoothly
I was pretty disappointed this was targeted to be done at a cheaper design and price. When I saw this was initially announced I was expecting this would have been nicer and more than willing to have paid $250-300 for a better design.
ОтветитьArriving tooday cant waittt to build🎉🎉tysm amazing model
ОтветитьFinished the model yesterday. Amazing how you created this relative small model with so many curves and angles looking like the real one.
ОтветитьI just bought this set but when I finished building it I noticed when I tried to move to gear shifter to lift the spoiler, the rod on the bottom that controls it bends instead of going straight through (bricksie had the same problem) any help?
ОтветитьThanks for amazing set ❤
ОтветитьWhat about glowing exhaust pipes :) ?
ОтветитьSo cool model in deep blue color 😍 but I don’t have one))) maybe someday 🙃💭
ОтветитьAmazing looking technic set, I wanted to ask you why the headlights at the front slope outwards instead of inwards?
ОтветитьAnother question I wanted to ask just out of curiosity was how come you had to design the headlight piece of the ford gt differently?
I was only wondering because I wasn't sure as the headlights obviously looks different to the real one?
It's because I know quite a bit about about cars so that's why I thought I'd ask
these light parts look awful mate
ОтветитьHi, I just wanted to let you know that I recently bought the lego technic ford gt and I have really been enjoying the build 😃 A question I wanted to ask though was that you know on the grey technic pieces which is called the technic 5m beams it's got quite a lot of cut outs and injection mold points and I just wanted to find out since you are the lego designer if you know if they are meant to be there and the reason they are on the pieces. I was just a bit curious to find out as I was a bit unsure 😃👍😃
ОтветитьHey Milan, I really love the way you've designed this car! I am planning of buying this on my 17th birthday which is on 2nd January. Only thing that I wish it had, would be a functional steering wheel, other than that it's fantastic! Hits the right balance between playability, and as a show piece. Lookin forward to it!
ОтветитьHey man! I know you might not see this, but I want to appreciate your dedication to this set because you have now made a set, I can call my "favorite". Thanks again for making this car, I LOVE IT!
ОтветитьJust bought and built this beauty! All these lines, angles, techniques - pure pleasure to build and look at the model. The doors are insane in the best possible way! I guess i will end up buying 2nd set to have original and MkIV versions at the same time (will be good company to the 4 of Defenders i've already have :) )
ОтветитьI am watching this while making the model! Thank You For All Your Hard Work, It Really Is An Exceptional Model.
