If Telegram was such a problem in terms of it's lack of encryption, then Durov wouldn't be facing charges for how his program has been used to thwart investigations into crime. I have a feeling there's some three letter agencies involved with how this is being reported. That's just my two cents and I'm going to continue to use Telegram until Durov is shown to be compromised. So far, he's had to leave his own country of Russia and give up the successful social media platform he developed there because the government wanted control over it, he had similar issues in the US and the UK when he attempted to go there with his operation, and eventually settled in Dubai because of their non-interference stance on private enterprise, and they have a more efficient tax code. Sounds like someone I can trust because he doesn't want to be compromised by anyone.
