Understand that Dilano's accident happened properly on the Kemmel Straight. This has nothing to do with with the Eau Rouge and Radillion Complex. As far as I'm concerned, Kemmel Straight is not a blind spot for drivers coming behind which many are using to explain this crash, but I'm here to say that this accident probably happened 200 meters passed the blind spot at Radillion which is plenty of time to react for even the speed of Formula 1(the track itself is fine, the changed Eau Rouge and Radillion is ok, Kemmel Straight is never a danger by itself). The real only issue is the FIA allowing the race to happen under this condition in which visibility is nowhere near the approximated 200 meters. So Spa should never really be removed from the calender, nor should the corners be changed, the only thing that needs to change is FIA's decision making process to red flag the race under this condition(especially at Spa). This has happened in 2021 with Lando Norris, but the FIA clearly didn't learn enough from it because Lando was fine)
ОтветитьFIA need fining for sending cars out in those conditions wtf
ОтветитьSpa is one of the legendary racetracks the issue is not the track but to allow racing in those conditions where visibility is virtually impossible
ОтветитьPoor lad and his family, my condolences goe out to all of them for their loss. Looking at the incident itself i feel if this exact accident happened in an f1 car then we'd be lookibg at a 100% survival chance for the young man. It begs the question why are the f2 cars not built to the same saftey specifications. The company that gets the contract to make the f2 chassis need to be reviewed very soon
ОтветитьThis is a failure of safety as the visibility clearly looks dangerously short even from our perspective. It doesn't matter if you change Eau Rouge and Radillion this collision could easily still happen in these conditions when you can barely see the drivers ahead of you.
ОтветитьI don’t know if there’s much of anything that can be done to protect someone in these accidents.I’d love to see it happen!Basically a bullet into a bucket though.Sad,just a little bad luck and physics.
ОтветитьThis shit's (bad management) been going on even in Niki Lauda's era.
Motorsport is potentially dangerous - fine. But there's no need to turn it from 'potentially' to 'definitely'.
Person responsible for that race continuing in that weather needs to be charged.
ОтветитьThey just can t let them race in these conditions. Managers of the race are just criminals !!!
ОтветитьEveryone gets killed out there
Ответить19 years of age
ОтветитьTo FIA: How many times you learn the lesson old man?!(no joke)
ОтветитьLook at the leader going back and forth to kick up as much spray as possible
ОтветитьR.I.P.😢
ОтветитьClearly if the spray level is that bad the visibility that poor, the race should have been called off terrible tragedy.
ОтветитьHoly fuck! That was horrible!
ОтветитьRIP 🕊️
ОтветитьHe has been resting in the heavens for 1 year, Rest In Peace Dilano Van't Hoff 🕊️
ОтветитьHi Wreckage world,
I’m Anton Severinsson (CirciutKings), and I’m working on a video about motorsport crashes. I would love to use this clip in my crash compilation. Would that be fine?
I will, of course, give full credit and link back to your original video. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
Best regards,
Anton Severinsson (CirciutKings)
No way this race should have taken place with that level of visibility. Criminal negligence by the organisers
Ответитьwhy P1 is swerving all around the track, so nobody can see behind him? >_>
ОтветитьEau rouge was and still Dangerous, for make it save you need to destroy eau rouge and if you do that is like you destroy the whole circuit, that will never Happen.
ОтветитьEveryone loves wrecks but glorifying tragedy is just too far.
Ответитьanother massive failure by F1, get your shit together and don't race when it's not safe. the family should sue them.
ОтветитьThis could have easily cost more than one life. Totally irresponsible to let the race go on in these conditions.
ОтветитьNo parolacce!!
ОтветитьThe issue here is that this MIGHT be FINE with F1 drivers. Because F1 drivers are highly trained professionals that have bonkers vehicle control, almost superhuman levels.
But FRECA, is not even Formula 3. It's absolutely talented drivers but with far, far too little experience to driver under these circumstances, with such speeds, such visibility, and such 'lower level' and thus 'lower safety' open-wheelers, which makes EVERY driver unpredictable, in already unpredictable circumstances, and is a recipy for disaster.
In these circumstances, PERHAPS Formula 1 is able to go, but NOT a competition like this. The ONLY solution for circumstances like this would be a computer-controlled mandated ECU power limiter of let's say 60%.
That MIGHT aswell work for F1, with a 80 or 85% power limiter by a FIA-sanctioned control unit.
That atleast takes the speed out of the situation and as such reduces the risk of loss of control, but at least will bring slower speeds, but still, would be dangerous.
This wasn't Formula 2, this was FRECA.
Antonelli showed in the Mercedes how easily you can lose control in a F1 car, where an experienced driver ( like Russell ) is able to control, but NOT a F2 driver with lack of experience and control. And then a guy like Antonelli is like god-tier experienced compared to FRECA 'juniors'. But even then, if you'd put a vastly experienced driver like Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, or Max Verstappen in a FRECA car, this STILL doesn't take away that these cars are also NOT on par with F1 level safety standards.
The safety standards may be 'rightly adequate' in 'normal' circumstances, but a rainy Spa, is NOT.
RIP, poor family members. Ain't no way of processing the loss of a child. If there was no way to avoid, then one can only hope he 'went' fast and didn't suffer.
Must be a life long trauma for the driver that couldn't avoid him either.
Raving is dangerous. Its an accepted risk. Bad things happen.
ОтветитьOh i see the jumpscare with f1 in another crash
ОтветитьQue delicia 😂
ОтветитьSame crash like huber belglium with rain should be banned
ОтветитьThis race shouldn't even happen with climate like this, even planes sometimes don't fly because of it.
ОтветитьRest in Peace, you were so young😢
Ответитьse non bestemmio, guarda...
Ответитьand why put grosjean crash?
ОтветитьThe organisers should be both criminally charged and sued for tens of millions .Drivers' visibility in front of them was very poor .
ОтветитьRaces in weather like this at high speed tracks need to be red flagged. I'm all for racing in the wet but when you can't see 2 feet in front of your nose, what is the ppint of even racing? At low speed circuits, at least the impacts and collisions will be at relatively slow speeds. There is no need to be going up Eau Rouge and Radillion in this kind of visibility. 2 deaths is 1 too many for us to have not learned our lesson.
Ответитьpointless stoopit crash. shouldnt
ОтветитьRacing is boring if you're not constantly trying to cheat death.
ОтветитьFools in the rain. Just suicide not sport.
ОтветитьAll angles??? We only have one angle
ОтветитьAs safe as they try to make these cars, side impacts are the most likely to end up in serious, or even fatal, injuries. RIP young man.
ОтветитьWhy always Eau Rouge
Ответитьma il tipo a bestemmiato XD
Ответитьisnt this the same area as Hubert fatal crash?
ОтветитьAnthoine hubert type accident crazy
ОтветитьPoor kid died with that haircut
ОтветитьSome dumbo records vertical video
ОтветитьThis part of Spa should be adjusted to many drivers dying here
ОтветитьThat haircut should have disqualified him from racing.
