Have you considered picking up the swampfox king slayer? I hear they’re really competitive to holosun’s in terms of pricing and quality. Plus, they match the footprint of the rmr/holosun.

My DPP shit the bed, 3 months after having it. Had it sent in, and repaired and it's been ok, that said, its the least fav of all my mrd's, in fact, I wish I went another direction for sure, and will probably send my slide in to have a rmr/sro/holosun foot print cut in or a plate made to ditch the DPP. Nice vid mate. Happy shooting.

...have 2 DDP and have no issues and is plenty bright for me...also have a Holosun that I would recommend, and a Shield RMS that I've had to send back twice and they are now sending me a third one with the new Glass doublet lenses - appreciate the customer service, just don't think it should be this problematic...

507 C for me! Only down side is battery placement. The newer side battery tray seals the deal.Trijicon Type 2 3.5 LEO was my first Red Dot, it's ruugged and I'll keep it.

Very helpful. I've got 2 SROs and love 'em. Have 1 507c and like it. Have 3 Venoms and like them too because you can direct mill them to CZ75 slides. Just yesterday I picked up my new P01 steel frame (wow - a smooth shooting compact with little recoil - so much nicer to shoot than my P01 and PCR) and I'm trying to decide which way to go with a red dot. Too bad about the DPP. As you know you can direct mill them to CZ75 slides and they've got the cool rear sight option. They just don't seem up to the task compared to alternatives tho. Thanks for the review.

Assuming the new 508t which is on back order is similar to your 507 I’m also pondering the Trijicon sro instead. The optic will go on a Glock 40 mos 10mm. And used primarily for hunting. Seems the sro has the advantage for sight acquisition. Your thoughts. Thanks

Made in China is bad enough, but almost impossible to get away from right now (hopefully that will change), but Holosun is a Chinese owned company which is what is stopping me from buying their products. I'm doing my best to not knowingly buy any products from Chinese owned companies. On a side note: Years ago I used to really like Apple computers and thought they were a very forward thinking company. I remember buying an ipod (4th gen) and thinking how amazing this thing was. Then the iPhone was coming out, which changed everything! But their price tag was just too much for me. Then about a month ago I overheard two people at work taking about the suicide nets at the Apple iPhone plant in China. I researched it when I got home and couldn't believe how bad their working conditions are! I don't know if I could in good conscience buy an iPhone after knowing how they're made? Just do a quick search and see for yourself.

I like the SRO but can’t find one,always out of order.

Do you lost sight of red dot under recoil? I'm intrerested in 507C and I'm just about to order to my Shadow1 and little bit worried about window size. Granted, recoil control skills is personal, I can shoot from 25m, 5shots with Shadown 1 in A's zone under 2seconds with irons.

What about DPP 7.5 moa triangle dot? Any comment?

Will either the Halosun or the SRO work on my CZ Compact 75D. As I understand it I will have to get it milled but I wonder about the chamber...thanks
