Instead of being monster just like having slightly cooler powers i wish it was like about sonic experiencing prejudice and havign difficulty in his new form, but instead we didn't get it. We could ahev learnt about how sonic's heart is pure and he cant be affected by dark gaia but instead there is no cutscene that describes it. there is no moment where sonic has difficulty and he just rools with whatever. that was the implication of the game, I've guessed.
