Thank you so much for the Barn Owl and Tawny Owl call sounds. Really good to get a better understanding of those sounds. The Barn Owl has to be my favourite owl but the Tawny male has the most wonderful call.

I was walking to camp last night and one was circling around in the darkness above me……even knowing what was making the sound I was still half expecting to get got by vampires like on the “lost boys” film. 🫣
Crazy noise for such a beautiful bird but I guess we could say that for some humans too!

Thank God i literally heard it a few minutes ago it’s 2 in the morning 😭😭I wanted to check if it wasn’t like a bird being tortured or something

My ex GF lived near a forest. On hot summer nights, when the window was left open, I heard these screeches often. At first I thought it was a tropical bird of some sort, like a parrot or a tucan. Untill my ex told me it was a Barn Owl.

Lol, I remember those sounds as a child on the farm, they lived in the barn and woods and would scare the crap out of relatives from the city, they can make more sounds than these as well. ❤

It just sounds like me at 5 AM.
