Great job, Amelia! Wishing JP all the best and wish him a speedy recovery.
ОтветитьGreat job, Amelia, and that mall is amazing! Glad to hear that you are feeling better, JP!
ОтветитьKuala Lumpur is also a good hub for air travel to the rest of ASEAN. I am Indonesian. Cities in Indonesia like Bandung (has cooler weather due to high elevation from sea level) or Jogjakarta (cultural city of Java), Surabaya or Medan (north Sumatera) are only about 1-2 hours flight away from Kuala Lumpur (via AirAsia).
Bandung is famous for its volcanoes (Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih Ciwidey), while Jogja is famous for Borobudur temple. Medan is a gateway to Lake Toba (largest volcanic lake in the world). Surabaya is gateway to Bromo volcanic mountain.
Maybe u are interested in visiting those places.
Well done, Amelia! You did a GREAT job of showcasing KL. I was there for a month, dealing with a root canal, optamologist appointment and, I did a health screening. Just arrived in Da Nang 2 days ago. KL is lovely but, it sure is nice to be close to an ocean breeze.
Best wishes for JP's recovery.
Did I see that right?? You as a single white woman walking into Plaza Low Yat mall? That is bravery to the next level! This IT mall is notorious for scamming the so called Ang Moh or Matt Saleh, the white tourists. 😊
ОтветитьYou did a great job recording this video.
ОтветитьGood for you. Solo travel has a lot of advantages. It gets really lonely sometimes. It is a positive adventure. You have to completely rely on yourself. That can really boost your self confidence. It’s very important because you can’t rely on someone being available all the time. Like JP being sick. I think for women getting through a solo travel experience really gives you so much self confidence.
ОтветитьThis is the first video of yours I’ve watched and I loved it! You did really well Amelia. I saw that you walked past The Melia, we stayed there in August this year and are going back next year. It’s a great area.
ОтветитьWell done girlfriend! We appreciate that you overcame your trepidation and ventured forth. Life is indeed full of transition. Hope you are fully recovered soon JP 🙏. Sending love from Joanie 🐻 at Lake Tahoe where the bears are out looking for food before their Winter rest. ❤ So cool
ОтветитьGood job Amelia! Get better soon JP.
ОтветитьYou are safer in KL than any big city in the USA!
ОтветитьBed by 9:30pm?... LOL, Malaysian families tend to go out at 8-9pm until midnight. And then things start later in the morning, like after 10am or 11am in many cases. As early morning is usually the best time of the day to be outside and jog or whatever.
ОтветитьAsia is electronis heaven. Best selection at best prices. As in fact, Asia makes 83% of EVERYTHING on earth today.
ОтветитьGreat job Amelia! It’s always good to learn something new at our age. Get well JP❤
ОтветитьGood job, Amelia.🎉
ОтветитьYou did a great job!
ОтветитьDone good girl
Ответитьthis was awesome, and you are so cute, its a different perspective but still a great video nonetheless
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьDoing a good job Amelia. Very interesting. Please be careful while filming so that you’re safe from ongoing traffic and falls. Also be careful being outside during the numerous lighting events.
ОтветитьGood job Amelia 🎉
ОтветитьI would love to keep you company!!!!
ОтветитьI have so many questions about the squat toilet! haha You did a fantastic job Amelia! How are the gluten free options there?
Ответитьstop being so self indulgent this is the safest country in the whole of Asia you have 1% chance of being mugged harassed bothered or even yelled at and Bukit Bintang is one of the safest areas of all. I have been to KL many times never had a problem once
you might get a bit of hassle in Kelantan or Terrenganu but only if you walk around dressed for Thai beaches
I was there for 10 days 17 years ago, business trip. It was a decent place to visit, took a bus to the beach, twisty mountain road, fun. The flight from US was LONG, 30 hours with a layover. Did you see the huge rats in the street drainage gutters at night, yikes!
ОтветитьAmelia, Your skin complexion looks great! What are you doing right?
ОтветитьThank you, Amelia. Another great video. Wishing you and J P a full and speedy recovery.
ОтветитьKuala Lumpur is a very safe city to walk alone. I bet my life is a million times safer than in any other city in Ecuador, and it is more developed! Public transportation in KL is amazing, clean, safe, and cheap!
ОтветитьAmelia you did a good job, yeah you really did! Been praying for your hubby and I'm glad he's doing better!
ОтветитьCongratulations ... a job well done. Best wishes and enjoy new your endeavors.
ОтветитьSo sorry to hear that JP is still not feeling well.
ОтветитьInteresting and you did a very good job filming and narrating. The landscape itself doesn’t attract me though. There’s not a lot of greenery for such a humid place. The buildings seem to be all concrete and glass. I’m sure there’s beauty to be found but the city looks awfully hectic. You are quite adventurous to be there!
Ответитьyou did good! I enjoyed your first video, well wishes to JP
ОтветитьThe westerner who ‘can’t live’ without a bidet.
A MAN from the United Kingdom now “can’t live” without a bidet when using the toilet after living in Malaysia since April, Sinar Harian reported.
Greg Larcombe, 39, said westerners, especially those who have travelled around Asia, find the bidet a necessity to clean themselves.
“Some people say, suddenly, a mat salleh can’t live without a bidet? I agree, and it doesn’t only affect me. There is a change in attitude among westerners who come here and use the bidet.
“Living in Malaysia has changed my life and using the bidet is a necessity now.
“Many of my friends who have travelled here have installed it at home in UK.
“They also feel disappointed and upset if there is no bidet to wash themselves if they go to hotels abroad,” he said.
Way to go, A!
ОтветитьGood job Amelia, but there’s no I in team, so JP we missed you, get well soon. Looking forward to your next video together. Take care.
ОтветитьAwesome job Amelia
ОтветитьAmelia, you seemed very comfortable filming! It was informative and let’s face it you more pleasant to look at than JP 😉 I’m glad he’s better.
ОтветитьGreetings from Cotacachi! Poor JP, always a possibility when traveling but Amelia you are looking great. Love your videos and share with my friends worldwide. I am so used to seeing you two in Ecuador over the years that I feel like you are family. Obviously the travel is doing good things for both of you as even with not feeling so good, you both are looking great. Sometimes a full day in bed gives the body time to resurrect. I love Kuala Lumpur, but are you ever coming home?
ОтветитьPrayers for you JP enjoy you both. Great job Amelia.
ОтветитьYou guys are the Best...Hope JP gets well!!!
ОтветитьGreat job. You're a pro, Amelia.
ОтветитьWonderful job Amelia!!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed your video, love the tech shops which are missing here where I live, especially with not owning a car now. Thanks for being brave x
ОтветитьGreat job Amelia!!! Keep it up!
ОтветитьThat was great! Glad to see you getting over some fears and sharing it with everyone.
ОтветитьGreat job, Amelia!!!
ОтветитьGreat job, Amelia! I know you were functioning outside your comfort zone but you did it beautifully. So glad that JP is feeling better, poor guy has just been slammed.
That mall looks amazing! Looking forward to the next! Hugs to you both. ❤
You rock, Amelia! Very well done for your first time on your own! Greetings from Greeley!
ОтветитьAmelia, you did a fantastic job! 👍👍👍
