Tbh I havent been this invested in a season for quite a long time so I guess in that sense global all stars is fun. Its just because of the wrong reasons. Idk if I wouldve watched it if Nehellenia was eliminated

I think if i was in the lalaparuza i'd pick either Pythia or Miranda lebraò to go up against. And as for song choices i'd pick either jealous of my boogie or call me mother.

it would be fun to see someone choreograph asmr lover around like tapping on the microphone and doing different things with props like in asmr videos

i thought pythia's backbend was better than i expected

I watched Thailand during a layover during a 20 hour travel day. Other than Pangina’s outfits, I did not enjoy it at all.

She seemed pretty upset about how the season went down and I think Ru’s reception of her drag probably prevented her to show her stardom before the Lalaparuza. Hi Mera! As a south African I'm so excited that we are gonna have drag race south Africa! I'm so excited cause we are quite a progressive queer country, we were one of first to legalise gay marriage and queer couples can even adopt.. We have our very own unique culture and references and community.. It will be interesting to see how our humor and references translate to an international audience.. I've seen some people asking to see Bebe host but however while she is an amazing winner, she is not south African, South Africa is a separate county.. It's like asking Nicky Doll to host drag race espana just because they are European.. But I am so excited to see queer representation from my home country.. We are such a diverse nation (we call ourselves the rainbow nation) due to how many different cultures, races and ethncties and religions are here in one country!

i kinda believe the theory Alyssa was hidden from the edit because she was good friends with Kitty and Kween who are villains and talk shit about poor Nelly. Alyssa possibly said some nasty things too, but it never aired because she's the winner. so her main storyline has been mothering Tessa T, and WoW only knows how else the season could've gone.

Watched Thailand yesterday for the first time and man that was not great as an episode. I thought the talents and runways were all over the place, Pan was cold and her photoshoot outfit of Jacob Elori's hair stuck in the bathtub was bizarre. Not a great start to this series. I will continue to watch but by far worst 1st episode of any series this year. Eeek!

Another fun note about looks: I know you’ve mentioned you don’t watch much other drag content. Hannah Conda and Tia Kofi have been so entertaining on binge queens for Global and Soa’s bodysuit was originally Tia’s that she gave to Le Grand Dame.

I’m Thai and I genuinely thought they would cast more queens LIKE Pangina, like I can’t see any of these queens on a Global or Vs the World format. However, this season will set a new standard (for Thai drag) and hopefully the production can learn a few things from this season

honestly, 9/10 times i am so bored in these lip sync battles. i think it can be challenging translating lip syncs to tv. like if i saw any of these performances irl at my local club, id be living my best life. but on the drag race stage, it falls flat for me. unless there’s a gag, interesting reveal, or something funny. but can’t expect that every time.

idk, maybe it’s just too many lip syncs all at once for me to be able to enjoy it. (tho the s16 battle was so good, mainly because of morphine and megami)
