Great video and your beginners guide is invaluable for me as I've just purchased the Mini 3 pro with the RC controller. I don't get any previews though on the RC when I press album. Is there something in the settings?

I dont see hyperlapse nor mastershot mode on my mini 3, firmware is upto date though 1.9.9

Hey Just received the DI Mavic 3 Classic and the N1 remotes is working with the Mavic 3. Had a bit of a problem getting the two to pair but after a software upgrade and after a cold reboot of the pair, they paired up and I could see my dinning room table on the N1.

Sorry I goofed. I got the RC controller( with built-in screen) with my Mavic, which I just found out is the next step from the RC N 1.

Can you change the frequency band to use the HamRadio bands if you are certified ?

Bs on that , I got 4.6k first flight half charged right out of the box in much worse conditions than standing on a beach.

How do you set up the DJI RC to save screen videos/recordings on the SD card and not the internal storage? I have formatted the SD card in the DJI RC. When I get done with a flight I can pop out the SD card in the drone itself and load all video content to my computer and watch. When I pop the SD card out of the DJI RC and plug it into my computer it shows a lot of labeled folders, one is the movie folder when I open that up it has files there but when I play them it is just a blank screen on my widows media player. Does that mean they are corrupted? I can view them directly from the DJI RC but not my computer. It sounds like they are not getting stored on the SD card maybe I don't know. Can anyone help me with this? This DJI RC seems to not be very user friendly.

Update. I just happened to try and open the DJI RC SD card using a different media player and was able to watch the recorded DJI RC recorded footage. Weird that I can open and play the drone recorded footage with windows media player but for the DJI RC it has to be opened in a whole different media player. It seems like they would have made it so both drone and DJI RC recorded footage could be viewed with the same media player.

You miss the range!

There is two Screw like Button at the back of RC. What is that for?

I literally made it to the payment button, but I'm Very hesitant to purchase this drone because I really need this Active track to capture me surfing, even if it is from the shoreline, and at a parallel trajectory. Should I not get this drone for following me surfing?? Because from the one or two other videos specifically about using this drone to Active Track surfers, looks like it loses the subject after a wipeout or jumps to other subjects/surfers all around the area...

Hello, does anyone know how to activate developer mode? esq does not let me change the connection modes by usb, it tells me that I have to activate developer when I connect it to my pc HELP!

In a recent update, If you have a USBC microphone that will work on the RC with screen recording... After all it's just Android under there... Love my mini 3 pro

Is there a way to turn off those tutorial videos that pop up on the RC when you activate tracking or Master shot? I find it annoying to have to X out of them each time.

The cooling tip was really good to hear. I was just updating the FW on my Air 2s and it was melting after maybe 15 minutes of updating. Now I know why.

The range will be different for everyone depending where you are and fcc or eu settings. I get way more range than that, around 6-7 kilometers. Also altitude plays a big role.

Great vid as usual. I haven't read through the comments yet, but I believe the range dropping out has more to do with frequencies used in europe than a limitation of the drone/controller. I've been out over 3km (illegal yes, but on my property). Keen to get my hands on the new rc2 version.

why is the not recording symbol a red circle in dji drones, is there a way to change that? Love that the screen record is a red circle!

You answered the most important question for me, which I couldn't find anywhere else. You confirmed for me that I could put a cheeseburger in the carrying bag that comes with the drone. 😁

For a Dar unplug open hold button plug in then hold until u hear a long beep let go then it factory reset

The fact that your only getting around 900-1400 meters range is very strange... My RC with Mini 3 pro has gone up to 4.5 KM, And thats in areas with lots of trees and hills too
