Great review 😀 I’m from Auckland , Wellington and born in Christchurch you gave very fair summations of them all. Used to holiday in Queenstown in the 1950’s can’t stand it now its so unrepresentative of the country . You didn’t mention Taranaki NZ’s little gem out on the west coast of the north island little changed in the five decades I’ve been visiting there and once you get over their strong opinions of Aucklanders aka Dorklanders, second only to people from Christchurch its not a bad little haven of retired farmers.

Unfortunately Auckland has become a Rich man city .growing up in the 80-90's those were the care free days

Personally as a kiwi I can't stand Auckland or Queenstown. To many rich people. Who just push the national prices on everything up. The South island is the place to be. Apart from Queenstown.
