The 80’s : “ big hair”!!! You are wrong. Exactly for the same reason that post modernism gets it’s it’s inspiration from all art movements, mix and voilá!

Like David Bowie, I have a keen eye as well, I just don't have the money to spend on it. Like famous people are something special and unique. Very interesting the Super lamp, obviously taken from VW Super Beetle. Refreshing to see someone call it acrylic and not Lucite. Definitely gives him credibility. They used one of the First Chairs on an episode of Miami Vice as well as other pieces of Memphis in other episodes.

The reason why everything in this video looks good, is not because of the furnuture. It’s because of the lighting! Great job by whoever is in charge. I’m sure low-cri leds aren’t anywhere to be seen in the museum. Halogen PARs only.

One detail: Ettore Sottsass was not just a design consultant to Olivetti from 1958 to 1970. Without knowing when his contract ended: He designed furniture ranges for Olivetti (Synthesis division) in the 70s (evidence 01). I was in his studios during the 70s: His private one was in Via Borgonuovo, while that by Olivetti was on Via Alessandro Manzoni (evidence 02).
