Repanse's Campaign System Became Meaningless in Immortal Empires

CA def forgot about Repanse while making Great Desert of Araby Landmark cuz the water supplies becomes meaningless in just 4 turns if rushed

The real problem is that you need 2000 chivalry and you can only reasonably get 1000 from conquering your nearby enemies. Ive playtested it and after securing the SE continent, I calculated I would need about 90% of the map to make that score.

The only Bretonnian Campaign that is easy.

Repanse's campaign is one of many things that I liked better about Mortal Empires. Another was getting a bunch of knowledgeable wizards. Oh one thing I found odd that I thoguht I'd just mention here.. So IP holders of Warhammer asked CA give all the Bretonian peasants British accents. They didn't care where from Britain, just anywhere. CA gave all the commoners British accents and the nobles French accents. The thing is Repanse de Lyonesse was a peasant who was made into a Knight of the Realm. In the video games she changed into a peasant who rose to be a Grail Knight. So while the letter of the request was followed since Pepanse is a knight, considering her origins it is a bit funny that she shares the same accent as the knights, Paladins, and her King.

Bretonnia needs an update, badly. They haven't really been touched since wh1 except minor changes to stats and such. Infact, they're weaker now since they removed the minor settlement tier 3 wall thing unique to them.

I don't really mind because that water supply system was always bugged and wouldn't resupply

What's funny is you never had to use the mechanic. All you have to do is never put the army in the city and it never started counting down, so if you sacked or razed every city & followed her around with a spare lord to do the occupying you never suffered attrition.

Unpopular opinion: CA knew Repanses water mechanic was redundant and antifun in IE but instead of doing a new rework they just added the oasis so people dont have to deal with the attrition bs

Thankfully, the Lady is merciful thus allowing Ogres to join Repanse in her great questing crusade across the desert in exchange for their share of the water.

I hope CA does something on Bretonnia one day...

As pointless the whole water function is, not just because of the landmark but because you always either conquer places or have armies in garrisons, Repanse campaign is one of my favourites, especially back in Vortex Campagin

To be fair, the Water supplies is a mechanic most of the playerbase can gladly do without.
