Steelers vs Washington should be a night game this week
ОтветитьNFL should flex the Steelers-Washington game to Sunday night!!
ОтветитьRun the ball pump fake n hit the go ball
ОтветитьAustin too
ОтветитьOut of all the amazing rookie QBs we have seen have amazing rookie seasons, how many of them kept it going and kept improving at least through their first 4 seasons?
I can think of three: Russ, Luck, and Mahomes. DWat could probably be in that class too. His first four years were amazing. Burrow might have done it if he had stayed healthy.
Gawd! I miss Andrew Luck. I wish he had stayed. He could’ve been dominant, and Mahomes DEFINITELY wouldn’t have three SB titles. He might not have any SB appearances period.
I just can’t make myself root for Mahomes, even though I appreciate his talent. I think he’s overrated and overvalued. He receives too much credit.
Tired of sports shows with holes
ОтветитьThanks for share
ОтветитьGreat coach but you know your need more than laddmore to help you better Pittsburgh
ОтветитьThe Steelers play three games in 11 days against formidable opponents: Sun-Sun-Thurs. Predicted losses in BOLD:
@ Commndrs, Sun 11/10, 1:00 PM EST
vs. Ravens, Sun 11/17, 1:00 PM EST
@ Browns, Thu 11/21, 8:15 PM EST
@ Bengals, Sun 12/01, 1:00 PM EST
vs. Browns, Sun 12/08, 1:00 PM EST
@ Eagles, Sun 12/15, 4:25 PM, EST
@ Ravens, Sat 12/21, 4:30 PM EST
vs. Chiefs, Wed 12/25, 1:00 PM EST
vs. Bengals, Time TBD
I have the Steelers finishing 7-2 over the next 9 games for a 13-4 record. They’ll sweep the Bengals and the Browns and split with the Ravens for a repeat 5-1 record in the AFCn, and lose to the Eagles but beat the Commanders and the Chiefs.
Mike Tomlin is unanimous Coach of the Year over Dan Campbell, John Harbaugh, and Andy Reid.
The Steelers can handle these 9 games. If they don’t do anything besides take care of home, they go 4-5, which will have them in the playoffs as a 10-7 wildcard.
But they’re perfectly capable of winning on the road. Don’t be surprised if they go 7-2 over these 9 games, although 6-3 is more likely. They could drop next week’s game vs. the Commanders or their non-divisional matchup with the Chiefs.
Btw, Russ’s career trend says he not only leads the Steelers to a win at Washington but schools Jayden Daniels in the process.
Only four young star QBs (i.e., no older than 3rd year) have managed to procure wins against Russ’s teams in their first matchups: Andrew Luck, Lamar Jackson, Andy Dalton, and Josh Allen, and Russ has paid them all back except for Lamar Jackson.
Only one QB has beaten Russ three straight times. It was Mahomes, and he BARELY pulled that off while having a SB-caliber team facing Russ’s dysfunctional Broncos squad. Russ nearly beat him with that team in all three losses, and he won two others for a 2-3 record vs. Mahomes’s Chiefs. He has outplayed Mahomes in 4 of those 5 games.
So, LJ likely loses one or both matchups with Russ this year, especially with the Steelers traditionally dominating the Ravens anyway.
Furthermore, the last superstar Commanders QB Russ faced was 2012 ROY RG3, whom he thoroughly outplayed in a wildcard game en route to nearly leading the Seahawks to a SB as a rookie, and whom he beat out for two of three ROY awards.
Jayden Daniels had better bring his A+ game, because Russ and the Steelers D will be gunning for him.
But what about the Browns, they’re dangerous, right? Not for Russ! Kevin Stefanski never has an answer for Russ, and Jameis Winston, although a very talented QB, has also struggled against Russ-led teams.
Cincy has no defense, so Russ will put up 35+ points against them in at least one game, if not both, and Burrow may not even be available for both games if his recent injury history is any indication.
A 7-2 (13-4) finish is doable for the Steelers, and it would be ideal if they are guaranteed at least one home playoff game if they’re going to make a SB run. A 6-3 (for 12-5) or 5-4 (for 11-6) finish will also be acceptable.
