Went to see tonight.... fkn luvved it!!!! So different from the first 2. Editing and score superb!! And the little guy that played Spike was phenomenal! I had tears in my eyes at 1 point... sure you can imagine the scene that caused it. I loved this soooo much... "Look at what's in front of you!"
ОтветитьJust left the cinema, devasted to how it’s turned out, absolutely rubbish … massively underwhelming, the first one is one of my favourite films… and expected that intense in your face infected / zombie madness ! And it was just shite ! Totally gutted
ОтветитьI saw this pop up before i watched it yesterday, so waited until i had watched thr movie to comment. I was not prepared to cry, but the scene that made me cry hit very close to home for something that happened recently in my family, so it was almost cathartic.
Btw this is the first of your reviews im seeing, great review! Im going to show it to my friends to convince them to see it !
This movie was awful. I'm baffled by all these positive reviews.
ОтветитьI love your cat. I have two bengal cats and they sit and watch me on my laptop too.
ОтветитьI was excited for this film but wow what a pile of shit
ОтветитьIn my opinion, the infected in 28 weeks later are much better than this movie. But I do love the flashbacks in this movie to 20 weeks later when the code red was in full effect (Sgt. Doyle looking through his scope). and the ending of this movie had me laughing.
ОтветитьThis movie kicked so much ass
ОтветитьI thought this was the biggest disapointment of the year
ОтветитьIt was a huge disappointment. I’m shocked at the awful direction it went after the first 30ish minutes.
ОтветитьJust saw it. Incredible. Far too much to say so I'm leaving it at that. This is the rare great example of how to continue/reintroduce a franchise & build out a familiar cinematic world with fresh ideas.
ОтветитьJust got done watching so I’m still processing what I saw. I agree there are parts that I absolutely love about this installment, but some leave me baffled. I think part of the challenge is that either I wasn’t aware or had forgotten it was set up as a trilogy. As it was getting near an end I was curious how it would wrap up all the loose ends, and then it just ends. So I understand now. I love the visual look of the film. And the score is great as well. I also heard parts that were reminiscent of the classic score. As always Love the channel and hugs to Sissy.
ОтветитьThis movie was terrible. Boring, predictable, emotionally manipulative, non-sensical.
ОтветитьThis movie was bad a**! We loved it!
ОтветитьPeople forget 28 Days overall wasn't an action film.
This franchise has always been emotionally driven. Did everyone just forget that 28 Days dedicates an entire section to building a relationship w/Frank just to kill him off in seconds from a blood drop? He mutates and is put down mid-transformation before he can even attack Jim & the group.
No. What has happened is that people have taken 28 Weeks (which is the most action packed I'll admit, but has the worst narrative) and have decided that this is what the franchise is, despite Alex himself saying it isn't true to his vision.
"We want gory, in your face scenes! We want zombies."
Yeah? and I want you to pay attention.
If you're looking for a high-octane thriller, this isn't it and it never has been.
So far, the reception that I'm seeing is what I like to call the "Blade Runner" effect, where people completely misrepresent the artistic vision of what is being shown to them (the mainstream population are just now coming around to The Last Of Us Part II game after witnessing Season 2 of the show), only to then develop a fondness for it years down the line. One of the biggest complaints about 2049 was that it "put people to sleep," now it's being heralded as one of the best modern examples of cinema as an art form in the modern era.
This movie was so bad.
Edit// the story was terrible. But the editing and cinematography was awesome
Loved the first half of the movie, after that it got lame..
ОтветитьIt is planned to be a trilogy still, however, they haven't secured funding for the third installment, so maybe they don't want to promise what isn't yet guaranteed.
ОтветитьToo bad I’ll be dead in 280 years…
I’m going to miss 28 Decades Later. 😢
very disappointing..4/10 for me
ОтветитьIt was ok, that ending was weird, I felt like there was still 30min left waiting for his dad to come rescue him and the movie just ends. I give it a 7/10
ОтветитьTHANK YOU FOR THE NO SPOILER REVIEW NOT ENOUGH OF THESE AVAILABLE
ОтветитьStop f**king about mate… it was absolutely dog sh!t.
ОтветитьHi my name is Boe i live in vancouver,b.c.canada been following your channel for about a year now just wanted to say your the best !!! i mean it the very best at breaking down movies telling the listeners the proper details and just being a blast online your very much a natural at what you do that's why now if i want a fair shake at a movie i come to your page...P.S. keep up the great work and very positive attitude it's contagious that's my rant ................
Ответитьfound this sequel very disappointing. didn’t feel like a “28..” movie
ОтветитьJust saw it.. Fabulous film one of my favourites ever 👌 Very creative & different to anything ive ever seen before
ОтветитьEmma, any chance you'd consider giving us a scare score and a gore score for each movie? So four scores all together? Either way, thank you for continuing to do what you do :)
ОтветитьIt’s not don’t see it.
ОтветитьJodie Cummer
ОтветитьWill the 2nd and 3rd installment be named 28 decades & 28 centuries later?
ОтветитьNot scary not enough infected it was more a drama then a horror movie. And then the really silly ending or lack of because it's a cliffhanger was pretty weird. Also when it supposed to be serious it was actually I think unintentionally rather unserious or the lack of seriousness and sadness at the supposed sad scene. I don't know. Was hoping it would be better. Best parts are already in the trailer really. Where was the horror the scare? Also a little kid barely trained can survive in an infested area when highly trained ppl die? Kinda weird too.
ОтветитьI feel like how good this movie is will be very dependent on the next two movies.
I've seen Days probably 30+ times and Weeks probably 20+. I've been waiting since 07 for this film and I think it delivered, we'll see next year.
I havent seen it yet but I think most people that are super disappointed just wanted another 28 days later zombie outbreak crazy rage movie full of action and rage running through the streets, and they didnt get that. Thats not what I was expecting after paying attention to all the rage leaks and info. I know its not going to be the same movie and there is no way it can be. Im pumped
ОтветитьThe movie was absolutely terrible extremely sad to see
ОтветитьCan you do a spoiler version?
ОтветитьStill one of my favourite things to do, watch the early spookyastronaunts review, then see the film, then rewatch the review. Just got back, loved it from start to finish.
ОтветитьThat main island is great Britain
ОтветитьSupport this movie if you want to see Cillian in the sequels.
ОтветитьUgggg I didn’t like it at all
ОтветитьIt's not a zombie flim
ОтветитьYou're not ever old enough to remember the first movie 0-0 Girl you're lucky, I wish I could be 12 again.
ОтветитьIm going sunday! Thanks for your thoughts
ОтветитьI figured it would be different. Alex Garland was inspired by The Last Of Us season one
ОтветитьMy audience lost it at the end. Lots of nervous laughter, a few people left etc, etc.
I can't believe Boyle actually read this in Garland's script and said "Cool, we'll do that"
Reminded me of the priest scene ("I kick ass for the lord!") from Peter Jackson's Braindead/Dead Alive.
Just saw it! Fantastic flick!
Cinematography was great! Good gore. Deep emotional scene as well. Go see it!
10/10 wanna see an eye gouge scene!
ОтветитьWhen you get to the end and you see an aerial view of Cheddar gorge, turn it off. It’ll make it an 8/10 v 5/10 by getting rid of the ending.
ОтветитьYou did an excellent job reviewing this film! Kudos because that was not easy to articulate, yet you did it. Huge Danny Boyle fan! I loved it. It was refreshing. Can wait for the next film.
ОтветитьThere is no reason to even watch the first two movies before this one since theres no real connecting threads. There's infected, but no returning characters.
I feel like youre actually better off not watching the original movies, because I was disappointed with how much they changed the tone away from those movies.
Watching it now, Emma ! the opening sequence is scary , I actually screamed . Ok going to 28 years later 😫😱
