They fleeced the hell out of people that came back to 2b2t and paid for priority queue just to log on and find out it’s no longer an anarchy server.

I don't blame Hause entirely. I blame Microsoft as well.

i think in the end it worked out for the best, and im glad the owner listened to the community. id been waiting til 1.19 to rejoin the server, and now its good to be back

Btw. might it be possible to get the 2b2t world save and use the current world on a singleplayer world?

2b2t players not throwing a fit when 2 terabytes worth of chunks nobody has ever even seen get deleted and they're told not to dox children online challenge (impossible, apparently)

Nobody can tell me that is the real haus trying to make some of these changes. Feels weird when ppl talk about haus they actually believe its really him.

From all the changes I am in favour of the anti-x-ray. It will force players to either work harder or to discover new creative ways to find ores. When I get to this server I will definitely have hard time finding anything, but it's 2b2t, so players with knowledge of some hacks should be the ones that win.
But I am definitely opposed to undoing previous progress, as cheating is totally legitimate way to gather resources on this server. Patching the bugs is OK, but punishing the players that found them first is definitely not.

i dont get it, if i re-log (i havent logged in since a few months before the update), will all my items be gone like my apples and crystal? or not

100% sounds like everyone didn't want the server to be as hard as it was intended to be and used monetary coercion to get their easy life back. A lot of what made the server easy were outright glitches simply being fixed. I can't really blame the owner for caving, though. At some point you can't have a server at all if that's how people are going to behave. Hosting ain't free. Great shame cause it sounds like, had people gotten used to it, it would have injected life in to the server again. What's the point of all the history of the server laying around with no one to play on it? Ridiculous.

I worry this will create an even worse disaster in the future, too. Now they can get what they want by just flashing their credit cards. That's not going to be something that works out for the best. But the community brought it on themselves.

C: as much as I understand where housemaster is coming from, we all knew that eventually if he didn't change it, mojang would. 2b2t was just too free to be able to last forever. eventually someone was going to take it down

I'm mixed on the rollback though. on one hand, I get the backlash, on the other, if this is what housemaster wants to do its his server let him do it his way

with how it is it will one just crash will have to be restarted from nothing and the why i think should is 0 modes just full hard care to the one you loss everything when you die and one get it it just get's deleted and as for the map nothing gets save if it does not have something player made on it

Why was chunk trimming bad? Doesn’t it allow for new chunks? What if they were rendered by someone moving fast w hacks? I don’t see it as a problem

i really do think it's a good update. not only does it make 2b2t more inviting without making it too inviting so that it doesnt just become a vanilla server, it also alienates the older 2b2t members, so that they stop playing 2b2t and maybe have a chance to go outside again.
truly a win-win scenario.

Just joined 2b for the first time. The server is still horrible, the anticheat is so bad, I can't even vanilla run, all combat/movement modules don't work anymore, it is awful. In case you just think I'm just using a bad client, I use future.

im going to try to recreate 2b2 on xbox one s/x realms soon. ive got world heavilly griefed down to stone. could give players operator access to similate hacks idk.

Cheaters get mad they can no longer cheat xD. 99% of the stuff that happens on 2b2t is the lamest degenerate stuff ever. The only cool things to come out of this server is amazing builds.
